When I had to say goodbye to the dog in Dragon Age. I didn't even use him, but Snuggles was a character all his own.

in Fallout 3, you get a signal from a conserend parent through the radio. The child is sick and they need medical attention. You track down their bunker only to find that they are long dead. No sign of the child, but there is a room with a pair of skeletons, a few scattered toys, a leg brace, and some other crap. Made me so damn sad to leave like that...

Ending credits of games that I've put 70~80+ hours into. Not always but sometimes. I think this is one of the reason I love playing Jrpgs so much, just the feeling you get at the end of a looong gaming session. The most recent I could remember was after I completed FF6 I just stared at the 'The End' screen with the music looping for about 30 mins, slightly teary eyed. Not really crying, just teary. I don't think I've ever properly cried, at a video game.
