Me too man! Even the 5 years part! I'm so amped for this. I don't care if it's the worst game of all time, in my head it'll be the greatest.darthotaku said:ah, duke nukem. first time i saw tits in a videogame was playing the origional when I was 5 years old. come to think of it, that was the first time ever.
Us PC gamers will draw a proper penis with our superior powers to them console peasants.Iron Lightning said:Now how am I supposed to respect a game where one can't even draw a cock on one's first attempt.
Uh...did you really wanna see a better drawn penis that bad? C'm on, this is 2010: Porn is two click away--like, literally two clicks away! You don't need Duke Nukem for that.Traigus said:They didn't seem actually ready to give a demo... missed an opportunity here.
Duke Nukem is supposed to be childish and dumb.
Too bad the guy's whiteboard skills didn't measure up.
the big question is, do they draw dicks because they love them, or because they think its expected of them?The_root_of_all_evil said:As has been discussed on Alien Swarm many times, if you give the players a light-pen, they're going to draw boobs and dicks.

The demo itself showed practically nothing redeeming. I can draw a penis on a whiteboard, kill a big boss, pee, and so on in a bunch of other games. There's nothing redeeming here to me, wasn't particularly funny anyway.
And Duke's statement at the end about it being twelve years in the making would only be hilarious if that scene took 12 years to make.

Not particularly but I'm simply stating that I don't see how after 12 years they did anything absofuckinglutely amazing with this game. Nothing I've seen is remotely innovative beyond the "That's neat" kind of thing which indie games do anyway by birth so yea...don't see all the fuss.

They were using a console controller, what did you expect? If penises are what someone might crave, then a mouse and a PC are the way to go.Traigus said:Lol. But, if they were going to stage it for the cheap ha ha's they could have gotten someone who could draw one fast and recognizable.
The whole thing was pretty poorly implemented. Gearbox usually does PR stuff better than that.
