Actually, I've learned a little bit of First Aid and Medical from games.

I make sure things are legit before I go sticking things in me, though, so don't worry.
Jesus, wouldn't wanna be saved by you.

On topic, probably hoy a car works thanks to NFS. I mean the manual stuff since where i live there are no automatic cars. Also, thanks to S.T.A.L.K.E.R., I did a whole bunch of research on the chernobyl disaster since i found it very interesting. Learned alot from that.

I learned that Quick-Time events in real life are just as annoying as the ones in games.

I learned most of the letters in the alphabet thanks to Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers -game which appeared in NES. Had they labeled the levels with numbers instead of letters, I could have becomn a skilled mathematician :D

America's Army helped me learn about "prioritising medical situations", I do believe.
Though, you'd probably help the guy with the missing arm before you helped the guy with the grazed leg, anyway, but I learnt it.

Where to start!! When watching university challenge (as one does) I always got the classical music questions right because in games like saint's row with radio stations, I find myself listening to the classical music one.

I learnt that when giving adrenaline to someone as part of first aid, you put it in the thigh (helped me pass my lifeguard certificate :D) which I learnt from Left 4 Dead 2.

I learnt how to treat broken bones, open wounds and poison from Metal Gear Solid 3.

all I can think of off the top of my head

I learned that if you expose matter to supernova energy, it creates a massless element that, when you run a current through it, projects a field around it that negates the mass of the object, or increases it! I also learned that through this, space travel is possible, and giant tentacle robot beasts lurk outside the galactic rim, just waiting for the right moment to extinguish all organic life! Again!

WoW taught me people are assholes and could they get away with it would kill you without a 2nd thought, come to think of it, MW2 also taught me this..

I learned if your names shepard your probably a bad guy, a lone Scientist CAN kill a entire army unit, and 8 zombies can be found in a single bathroom all thanks to valve

In all seriousness there was a question on my GCSE paper about red shift, the question was basically describing red shift, then asked if what they just described was red shift, blue shift or green shift, and i didn't know,so i guessed blue shift, cos it was a physics paper, half life is a physics term, it was a long shot but it was obviously wrong.. thanks valve!

Not personally, but my friend Kevin did learn how to fight from playing the original Assassins Creed. All the counters and everything. It was wierd, but awesome at the same time.

I learned that Nazis were jerks after playing some Wolfenstein.
Also that Hitler had a blue quadruple chaingunned mechsuit and was actually assassinated by a lone soldier who killed all the Nazis in his secret bunker singlehandedly and then riddled his body with bullets until he was a pile of organs.....and a head.

I have learnt alot of things, like history from the Total war games, or Different types of guns from gun games. MOst of the time, the games serve as a launching pad for my interest. I guess games really do pay off. :)
