I love how assinine the arguments are. A game is a game, and they optimize them for the platform. Yes you can get better performance on a PC, but every PS3 game I've played has looked beautiful in 1080p on a 40" tv with surround sound. I liked PC gaming till I blew my 8600GT card a while back and instead of forking over for a new vid card, power source, and using my old dual core I spent $300 on a PS3 slim and it's FUCKING AWESOME.

Also, the whole "oh FPS on console sucks balls MOUSE AND KEYBOARD FTW!"... all I can say is your argument is invalid. Console actually 1 ups it with joystick and mouse controls:

But, being able to keybind 25 hotkeys for an MMO or RTS does have some advantages, I'll give you that. Not like we see those game genres on console anyway. And like it matters.

me... I live in the basement... fear me... I do seriosuly have all my gaming stuff in my basement but thats only becuase its the free space in my house and its finished off and is quite nice.

You're right, it is a rendering because it shows the buttons better.

Better? And I don't know what your point is...? Because mine is that it's not any 'better' to game on a PC, and if a PC has a similar controller, that makes them equal. PC has some advantages, sure, but what does that matter to anyone? Like I said, games are games the only real difference is peripherals, and even that is no longer valid.

I find I console game mainly because it doesn't hurt my mousing hand. Also, I am on a computer all day at work, it is nice to not be infront of one at home too!

Exactly what is somebody creating a Facebook group to rip on consoles have to do with anything? There's people interested in doing that, leave them be. It's not even a very active group.

Why oh why oh why do these types of threads degrade into a "I DON'T LIKE KB+M!" fest? It's called VERIETY OF INPUT people, you could play the PC with a usb cabbage if you wanted (i prefer a wireless cabbage despite the input lag ). There's the USB 360/PS3 controllers, the weird hybid shown above, there's joypads, flight sticks, seering set ups, arcade sticks, sidewinders, old stlye contollers etc etc. there are more options

There is really nothing to argue about.

People can't accept others possibly having more fun on something other than what they enjoy.

Or they have so little self-worth and confidence in themselves that they have to defend there choices to people they don't know over the internet.

Sad, simple fact. Look, I like using my computer for gaming, something's just easier about clicking on something you want to die, maybe it's that moving the mouse is faster than the right analog stick, I'unno. Consoles are good, but for some gamaes (RTSes, some FPSes), PCs are just better. Oh, that and World of Warcraft is a PC-specific game.

The argument isn't invalid because of that device though. If you used one of those it wouldn't feel like using a mouse on the PC because all it does is take the movements of the mouse and map them on to what the analogue stick would be doing instead. You'll still get the horrid acceleration and auto aim you would with a controller. Not to mention I've heard that it suffers badly with input lag and you still can't re-bind any of the buttons.

So I'm browsing Facebook and I discover a group entitled "Consoles Suck".

Given the number of Facebook groups that are far more radical, I think a few PC gamers with their heads up their asses hardly qualify as a representative sample.

Every gaming platform has its elitists. The PC is no different.

Yep, that's what I was going to say as well. And, in my experience, the console elitists are just as vocal in their bashing of PC gamers as PC elitists are. Since I know more console gamers (I'm a PC gamer), I hear more console elitism than the other way around.

I have no problem what your pick is, i just don't like it when people get uppety about how their pick is the best
I prefer consoles, only because for me their less hassle and i only recently got a new graphics card capable of more shiny new games, but like i said we're all entitled to their own opinion, i enjoy console gaming just as much as i enjoy pc gaming, although i feels that pc shooters are an altogether more satisfying experience.
