Maturity is over-rated. I feel sorry for you then, cause when you're mature, you can't really find any interest in some things. Besides we're just kids, you're not anyone big and mighty, just enjoy being a child while you can.

At 32 I look back on myself and think "what a dumbass kid."

I'm sorry, but I couldn't resist adding a comma. Now the sentence pleases me!
Grammar Nazi away!! *woosh!*
OT: I don't think you should worry. Some of the kids are bound to mature after a while. Then you can discuss the economy, politics and the situation in Iraq
The reason they're acting like kids is becasue they ARE kids!! You need to remember to have fun while you still can!
To quote JD from Scrubs: "It's the kid inside us that keeps us all from going insane"
But on the other hand, I know really immature behaviour can be annoying. Pro Tip: girls tend to mature more quickly than boys, and they like mature people... I don't need to draw you a picture do I? : )
i used to be like that when i was younger but i got more immature as i grew older XDseydaman said:Anyone else get this problem? I'm 13 and almost everyone my age isn't mature enough to really do ANYTHING with, I spend most of my social interaction time hanging out with my older brothers friends and people online (Ventrilo), anyone else have to happen to them?
You make valid points but I cant help feeling included in the above comment there is nothing wrong with sometimes having a bit of "immature" fun, its all contextual. I enjoy my day to day life but sometimes its fun just to pull a daft practical joke or something.TOGSolid said:Look at all the tools in this thread that think you need to cherish your childhood because you'll never have fun in life again.
No one was hurt, and everyone had a laugh. There's nothing wrong with a good bit of fun. Once again, maturity has a lot more to do with having a good sense of responsibility, knowing right from wrong, and all that other stuff than just being super serious all the time.SuccessAndBiscuts said:You make valid points but I cant help feeling included in the above comment there is nothing wrong with sometimes having a bit of "immature" fun, its all contextual. At one point this year myself and a couple of flatmates managed to gain entry to another flatmate's room. We stole her piano, and hid it in the kitchen. The sheer bewilderment when she came home was one of the funnyest things ive ever seen and after she found it we carefully returned it to her room. Mature? No. Funny? Yes. Something we will all laugh and reminice about years later? Totally.
