I used to have a hot cousin stay over at our house once, it was hard fighting the urges. But in the end just think about what your kids might look like.

Eh, who gives a shit?

Its his own business. Let him do whatever and let it unfold the way it will.

Society is fucked anyway.

Blech. Now I feel like a troll. I thought this had to do with a movie I'd seen a while back, but EWW. The rules are simple. If they share more than an untraceable amount of genetic heritage with you: don't sleep with them! It's disgusting, it's amoral, and it's hella dramatic fallout.

You just don't do it.

I think they have to be you're fourth cousin in Canada, although that might just be a restriction on marriage.

Statistically if one would have kids with there first cousin there no more likely to have genetic deformities/illnesses then any other couple...

I'd guess that most of us have hot cousins...

In my position this is okay, in Japan it's fairly normal...

EDIT: When generations of family keep interbreeding with cousins then you run into trouble...
This.
That...

Yeah, I don't know why people think that one throw with Cousin Cindy will lead to Bizarro-You. It takes a while of that crap... see royal families...

There are enough attractive people out there that there shouldn't be any need to pursue your cousin.

"I'm a mother-lover, you're a mother-lover..."

IMO keep it out of the family. Not so much for genetic reasons (though, in general, bringing in more diverse genes makes for a stronger lineage) but because of the turmoil it could introduce into the family as a whole. A situation such as this could completely tear an extended family apart. Not worth it in my opinion, especially when it's just some pathetic hormones talking.

It doesn't matter how much he's seen her or if his half of the family is disowned. They are still related by blood.

In my mind, the idea of sleeping with a family member is EXTREMELY fucked up.

But, if they both like each other in that manner and they make sure never to produce offspring, then who am I to say no?

After all, I'm just some random person over the internet, my opinion counts little if it ever counted at all.

I agree with you. I want to stress that strongly.

But.

A recalled genetic memory says that rooting the 1st cousin is safer than the 2nd or 3rd. I figure if he's got a rubber and she's cool with it, go nuts. It's creepy and wrong (IMHO), but if they're ok with it - go team (retard).

Huh, I would've thought that second or third cousin would've been safer because they would be farther apart from their common relative and thus there would be more differences in their genes and wouldn't be so closely related to each other.

That is certainly an interesting bit of info.

I dont see any reason not too. I mean, I understand that it is genetically risky, with higher risks of birth defects, but still, why shouldn't he?
