I would assume this behavior is mostly because they are too scared to actually talk to girls in real life but with the magical power of the internet they can say whatever they like.

I have to agree with you on this. I mean if you played xbox live uno you knew well enough to never turn on the camera function. All you would see is everyone naked or having sex on cam. Or private games Guys and Girls did to not play uno and play with "other things".

I'm a guy, but I don't play online much... I have many reasons I prefer singleplayer that are unrelated to the topic, but one of the reasons is because online gaming communities are full of dicks. It's a sad truth that I've tried to ignore, but gaming sadly seems to attract a lot of lonely repressed losers who then proceed to take out their frustrations by insulting people online... If you're a female gamer it must be even worse because then you have to put up with their pathetic advances too.

and I don't even play XboxLive.. I'm a PC gamer. Still, everytime I try a multiplayer game I just find a bunch of squeaky midgets insulting each other... Even today, I decided to check out QuakeLive because I was bored - first match I joined there was a guy telling people to fuck off when they managed to frag him... and saying "die fucker" when he fragged someone.

Have I just been unlucky perhaps? Or is this the elephant in the room that nobody wants to admit is there...?
