Do you believe the quote 'God created man, but colt made them equal'?
no, but it's an amusing quote

Good god I hate tacticool.
Also, why are surpressors such a pain in the ass to get in America?
because, according to the Anti-Gun lobbies suppressors are only for making murder easier (no citation, personal experience) ignoring the benefits for hunters and range goers (less danger of hearing damage. I don't have a problem with this, because lack of suppressors isn't a huge problem, most people have them for fun.

you can claim to be "protecting" yourself but in reality the gun won't be able to do much, unless you can draw it, which in most cases you can't, you can pull the trigger, which is harder than you think, and you can NOT miss, you miss and you will probly get shot as well and they might not miss.
have you ever handled a handgun before? from what you posted I don't think you have, not flaming you, but if you have experience, it sure doesn't sound like it.

Would the world be a better place if it was legal to own firearms in all countries?

I have a gun related question: If a person were to theoretically stick their dick into the barrel of a gun, and it fit, presuming it fit enough to be considered airtight, would the gun be able to fire?

this is just a bad idea, and yes, it would

my answer to all of the following posts is YES thank you! People are afraid of guns because the media scares them into subconsciously thinking guns are out to get you, anyone who has spent time around firearms has

I grew up around guns. My dad introduced them to my brother and I at a young age, so I've always had a healthy respect for the uses and dangers of guns. Driving always seemed to be just as dangerous to me and you can get your drivers license way too easy for my liking. My point is that people just need more education to instill fear and respect of dangerous things.
Does anyone else get annoyed by being able to dual wield guns in some fps games? I also don't like it when the function of a gun is changed to balance the game.
games are for fun, real life isn't all that entertaining, i have no problem with unrealistic games. btw most realistic mil sim ever= ArmA 2 with the ACE mod

That thing is just too damn huge.
OT: Justify the right to bear arms in the USA when the firearms murder rate is substantialy lower in countries where the average citizen cannot own a gun, and specifically handguns.
majorly simplified answer: If owning guns is a criminal act, law abiding citizens will not have them, the majority criminals however will not be stopped. Then, how do we defend ourselves in a threatening situation? I can go on if you want, thats just the one of the strongest points IMO.
Let the police handle it, and its better that less people die then that more people will feel safe with owning gun for threatening situations.
Every time someone brings up gun control, people on the other side say let the police handle it. Time from when a burglar enters your house to when he could hurt or kill you: I'd give that one a minute tops. Police response time: average 8 or so minutes, isn't it?

different countries, different dynamics. what works in one might not be the same in another. i think gun ownership is more of a personal choice issue.
