I think a large portion of those who are against Obama are fuelled by racism. On the other hand, another sizeable portion of those who are against Obama keep using retarded arguments of how he's "tearing the country apart" and "destroying America" when these people can NEVER describe HOW he is doing that or what that even fucking means (ala the Fox News crew).
Allow me:

Printing trillions of dollars in what is essentially fake money, eventually leading to a total economic collapse.
Oh look, another retard who didn't read the link I sent him. You sir, have failed at the Escapist. Go away. Please.

I don't like Obama. I honestly don't. Really. Mind you, I haven't liked any of your presidents since FDR and Eisenhower respectively, mainly because those two were at least halfway-decent. But what I do like, is Economics. And all your 'OMG teh deficet is ruinin teh countrize!' crap is getting on my nerves. The reason your deficet is so high is because you are fighting a war and a recession, at the same time, and if it wasn't so high, your country would resemble mother-fucking Mogadishu right now!

Pray excuse the rage.
I looked at it and laughed.
I don't doubt that at all. You did strike me as a rather stupid fellow.
You sir, are a fucking legend.

There's talk of tyranny but no one said much of anything when George W was bringing in the patriot act.
You must not have been listening.

I remember a pretty damn huge uproar--not this huge, certainly, but Obama is doing even more to take away our freedoms than Bush did.

On topic: This has nothing to do with race. Obama is the most socialist president the United States has ever had. That's what this is about.
Ummmmmmmm I hate to break it to ya dude, but ummmmmmm there was this thing called WW1 and during that time there was this president by the name of Woodrow Wilson, he actually considered himself a socialist, and wasn't afraid to admit it. Also there was this other guy named Teddy Roosevelt, he gave us socialized education (aka public schooling)Lyndon B Johnston gave us Medicare and Medicade (if you had done your research you would know he wanted these for everyone but had to settle for people over 65, and REALLY REALLY poor people)

as far as Obama is concerned, he has proven to be JUST as centrist as this guy you might remember from the 1990's he goes by the name Clinton. in fact possibly more so, in that he has actually gone ahead and made deals with the corporate big wigs to help his plan through, he NEVER even brought the single payer option to the table (which is the one where u pick your doctor, and the doctor says you need this surgery and then he calls the US government says hey Vuljatar needs this surgery give me the money, and they send it over to the doctor)
And if you are referring to the fact that we the people now own the banking system AND GM, well, that's got more to do with those big wigs again suddenly realizing that capitalism (aka survival of the fittest) would mean their downfall and they dont like that idea ( figure that one out it is still boggling my mind, i guess its survival of the fittest as long as Im still the fittest otherwise it shouldnt work that way)

Before you make baseless statements, DO YOUR RESEARCH cuz otherwise you just annoy people.

oh and please elaborate on these freedoms that have been taken away, Id like to hear about them. cuz if i remember rightly the patriot act got rid of 80% of mine ( that's an obvious exaggeration but u get the point)

OMG you americans sure do love your politics, in Australia very few people go 'WE HATE OUR CURRENT LEADER' we are more likely to go 'meh, in a few years we can just vote him out if e don't like his policies'. It was only when John Howard brought in the retarded workplace stuff that people got a bit restless about politics.
this is one more reason why i think i would like to move to Australia maybe. can immigrants become Australian citizens?
Well I think there is the whole *live there for 'X' number of years and speak english and stuff that needs to happen first but as far as I know there hasn't been some large sclae anti-immigration law passed recently.

Jimmy Carter damn near ruined America. That's why all but six states voted to keep his ass out of the white house for a second term. I wouldn't trust that man with my lunch.

Jimmy Carter says that much of the bile against President Barack Obama's health reforms and spending plans is "based on racism". [http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/americas/8258011.stm]

I must admit that much of the rage I've seen at town hall meetings in America baffles me. There's talk of tyranny but no one said much of anything when George W was bringing in the patriot act.

Do you agree that race is a factor? I keep hearing people talk about taking America back, from who? Or do you think that Obama supports are, I love this phrase, "using the race card"?
Yeah, I'm pretty sure conservatives don't understand the difference between words like "fascism" "socialism" "Nazism" and "tyranny". They kind of lump em all together, rather ironically since conservative politics have been the most socially fascist in the country. Take the 70s, for example, when they wanted to put AIDS suffers and homosexuals into concentration camps. This wasn't a fringe opinion, this was the mainstream conservative opinion. Even today, you have the stone opposition to gay marriage. And conservative "revolutionaries" armed with brief case sniper rifles and automatic weapons palling around with neo-nazis. How ironic and fantastically naive is it that conservatives would compare Obama to Hitler?

I hate Obama as much as I hated Bush.

They're both wastes of life.

I love the fact that if you call a black president out for doing an inadequate job your a racist while saying the same thing about a white president is "sticking it to the man".

This is just reverse racism. Theres 300 years of slavery behind that smile so lets all be extra nice and tell him hes doing a good job.

True equality means that no matter what your skin colour, if you screw up royal, people are going to call you out on it.
That is a strawman. For the most part, people aren't calling it racist to criticize his policies.

But when someone spouts off complete nonsense such as:

- I would prefer a christian in the white house and Obama is Muslim
- Obama is proposing the same policies as Hitler (doesn't Godwin's law apply outside the internet?)
- He is giving the government over to czars.
- He has already destroyed half the country.

These are irrational complaints with no basis in reality and when supporters say they hate Obama because of them, you have to wonder what their motivation is. That they were predisposed to hate Obama due to racism is not a stretch.

I have no doubt that some people are racist towards him but I think that some people are just idiots and others have valid points against his policies, most people that didn't want their kids to see obama's speech were probably racist.

You know that Obama is aiming to renew some of the PATRIOT Act, right? It was in the newspaper a couple days ago. And you all do know that the Act is only for people suspected of being or hanging out with terrorists? If you don't fall into either then don't worry. Although it's not like the government doesn't spy on U.S. citizens already... they just made it legal with that. I couldn't care less about the Patriot act, because I'm not associated with terrorists.

People need to stop playing the race card. I mean come on, if you have to sink that low in order to win your arguement then not only do I have no respect for you (not that I had any for Carter), but I also think you're an idiot.

And that takes how long..? Schumpeterian Creative Destruction is still destructive in the relative short term.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

We as a nation are SO over that stuff.

This is cheap, pathetic tactic that needs to die.
Yous really arent, if you scratch the surface it boils down to racism.

The los angeles riots and the michael jackson peadophilia charges ring a bell? and they where all in the last 10 or so years.

So racism in America is still pretty wide spread, i think you people forget you fought the bloodist battle in your history for it(well one of the reasons)

Americans are asking for a miracle to be performed. The last great president to fix this mess took 3 terms, was a genius and a bloody world war to fix it.
