i will take the desert eagle nothing like having a pistol that you can beat someone to death with it if you run out of bullets.
Finally someone who see's the brilliance in the Desert Eagle! How can so many be blind to the usefulness of a gun that doesn't even need bullets?

I have a Howizer that shoots exploding chainsaws that are on fire.

I am fine with the size of my penis.

why would you need a gun in space?

I struggle with this question every time I get the choice. A modern clip loading pistol is efficient, quick reload and a high mag cap. The revolver is powerful, but only can hold an average of 6 bullets, and it takes time to reload. On the plus side for a magnum, it will never jam on you.
Magnum is a calibre/bullet type, you can get 'em as revolvers or semi-automatics.

On topic - If I ever manage to move to America I'm getting a semi-automatic. I'll probably get a revolver too at some point, but between the two it's gotta be the modern one.

I've personally only ever shot a glock and a revolver. Out of the two of those the revolver wins by far and away. Plus the shells from the glock kept on landing on my hand while they were still smoking. It was rather annoying.

Dan's 12 shot double barreled demon gun from killer7

(it was a revolver)

also magazine fed pistols run the risk of burning you with a hot casing

Revolver. The style points, just think of the STYLE points. Might just be wanting to use this one too.

Modern pistol. I like revolvers, but I'd prefer not to run out of ammo and have to reload, and the only reason I'd want a gun in my house is if I thought I really needed it... and it would be kept in a well hidden but easy to reach place, like a drawer beside my bed or somewhere similar. I'd also keep it fully loaded, I do not want to be messing around looking for a weapon when I'm being attacked!

Actually it is in case they crash and have to fend of wolves or something, they started bringing guns and vodka after a shuttle crashed just across the border into china and was attacked by wolves and almost frose to death.

Also the stock turns into a machete.

To everyone who keeps posting the Gunblade: You realize that bullets don't actually come out of it, right?

Myself, I side with modern semiautos. I prefer to have a single firearm to rely upon for a variety of situations, from home defense to possible city-wide rioting to, yes, even zombie apocalypses.

And for those wondering about style something more along the lines of:
...please tell me that's chambered for .40S&W. And then tell me where I can find one so I can stand there and drool.
