I'm a straight male. Although I've pretty much given up on ever experiencing sexytimes. Plus I'm terrified of the prospect.
Also WTF is a Pan?
It's not that big a deal. Sex, I mean. Not so you'd have to be terrified.
Yeah? Various media tells a different story.
And those various media are wrong. Yeah, your first time will be messy and a touch awkward, but don't worry too much about it because everyones is. There is truly nothing to be terrified of.
Then why are there so many books and articles about how to have "the best sex ever"? Plus WTF is with all the various positions? I always imagined sex to be a deep romantic thing, not some crude exercise.
Because people who are insecure about sex will buy books and magazines about how to have the best sex. The various media you're saying who make sex seem scary make their money by cashing in on that fear.
Well that wasn't the only media I was referring to when I said "various media," but those books and magazines and shit don't help my insecurities which is why I mention them too.

ah its really not that big of a deal. I doubt lots of girls would expect you to know all the positions from the kamasutra.
Mostly you just try to not over think it, sex is pretty natural and so far all of our ancestors have managed to do it, cant be so difficult.
Yeah, but all those positions reduce it to the crude exercise I was talking about. At least IMHO. Of course, what do I know? I've never had sex.

Younger people are more willing to identify as bisexual or *sigh* asexual than older.
Does the sigh mean you don't think of asexual as a legitimate response?

Cake!

& yes I identify as an asexual.

Because sex is pleasurable, and more pleasure = more better. Also, people are insecure. As for the positions thing, having sex in a non-missionary position can be very romantic, and having sex in the missionary position[footnote]You just expressed confusion over positions, so I'll explain quickly. Missionary [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Missionary_position] is basic, run of the mill, guy-on-top sex.[/footnote] can be supremely un-romantic. As a side note, what can be more romantic than pleasuring the love of your life? ;P

And I mean it, there is nothing to be worried about. A lot of sex stuff will either come naturally or with practice[footnote]Spoiler: PRACTICE HAS NEVER BEEN MORE AWESOME[/footnote], and nothing but the shallowest of love interests would stop being involved with you just because you lack experience.[footnote]point of fact, there are a number of people who find inexperienced people attractive, both because it can be cute and because it lets them teach you how to do things the right way[/footnote] All you need to do is communicate with your partner and listen to them when they tell you something and you'll do just fine. ^_^
Yeah? Well all the non-missionary positions look very crude to me. At least the ones I know of anyway. *sigh* I don't know.

Hmmm, I'd say I'm bisexual, but heteroromantic. If that term hasn't been used before by anyone other than me, then feel free to use it (let's see if we can get a whole new set of words in the dictionary together! Hetero/Homo/Bi/Pan-romantic!).

To explain, I am sexually attracted to both men and women, and have had sexual encounters with both men and women. However, I've only ever had romantic feelings, actual emotional attraction, to women (I'm male, for the record), so I say that's heteroromantic.

Thanks, I guess. That doesn't address the crude exercise thing I mentioned, but thanks.

Don't worry about it darlin, most of them are silly and unnecessary.[footnote]and/or were created by people who had to fill out "sexual position" lists. :p[/footnote] But just so you know, cowgirl[footnote]missionary, but with the girl on top instead.[/footnote] is definitely not crude. Spooning[footnote]
[/footnote] is a fun cuddling position that can easily turn into a sex position.

For those uneducated, what does 'LGBTWTFBBQ' mean?
Well, LGBT stands for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgendered.

LGBTQ adds questioning.

LGBTQIA adds intersex and asexual.

LGBTTQQIIAA adds transexual, queer, intergender, and allies.

LGBTWTFBBQ stands for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgendered, What The Frack, Bar Be Quethisisfranklygettingridiculous. Its a joke some people throw around, both in and out of the LGBT community.

Homosexual female here, I have my sexy times with my wife (thanks to Canadian laws that permit it) however I have much less sexy times in the last few months because we had a baby (again thanks to Canadian laws and sperm banks)

Huh. Thought that was already a thing, I just didn't include it for the sake of simplicity and the fact that there's only 8 poll options.

I'll take your word for it. After all there's still the issue of finding a partner.

"Heteromantic" I think that's how I'm going to describe myself from now on, as I much prefer to form emotional attachments than sexual ones.

I'm a guy that has sexytimes with the ladies. Well, I like to have sexytimes with the ladies, not that it actually happens particularly often.

I sorta don't know lately. I'm sexually attracted to guys, but I've also been feeling attraction towards girls too, but only in an asexual way. So I guess I'm gay & bi-romantic?

Eh, whatever, I'll vote gay male

Bisexual female.

As to whom I have sexytimes with... pretty much any friend of mine who wants to. Although 98% of my sexytimes are with my spouse.

Note: I do not identify the gender of my spouse. You don't need to know, and it shouldn't matter anyway.
