Don't mean to offend, but you kind of hit the nail on the head there. It's hard to explain to someone who hasn't, especially with all the media hype, but in a normal relationship it's just something two people do to experience mutual pleasure. The reason that sex is often considered romantic is because of how comfortable you have to be with another person to get the most out of it, and that applies to any position you care to try. Ain't much more to it.

'Course, I'm speaking from a very limited perspective, seeing as I've never done casual (doesn't interest me, wouldn't get any if I tried), but that's my perspective on it anyway. Casual just seems to be the whole mutual pleasure thing with a healthy dose of "because why the hell not?"

I'd have thrown it in there, but transsexual peoples have many diverse sexualities, and I seeing as we only had 8 options AND you could only choose one, I had to nix getting specific demographics on transexuals. I just had them put themselves in their prefered category. For example, a nice young transgirl who only likes guys put herself in "straight female" because she is a girl and prefers the opposite sex.

I don't "REALLY FUCKING HATE IT" when people add extra letters, but it definitely gets a bit silly. Ergo the making fun of with the LGBTQIAAWTFBBQ.

Also, I don't find the Escapist community to be all that unfriendly of a place - we have out bigots, but most people are good, sane people. Just because most of Escapers aren't in the LGBT community doesn't mean that they aren't allies.

For the most part, the results are in. Take a look at one of the analysis that Escapists have done. The three big numbers to take away is ~75% straight, ~10% female, surprisingly high bisexual population.

I don't see much wrong with the way you did it. Gender =/= sexuality, whether you're cis or trans shouldn't really matter for the purposes of this thread.
