I started to lose favor with Nintendo around the release of the N64, where I brief stint as a Sony fanboy (I was a youngling)
I never really got back into Nintendo very much, I got a Wii (on release day), played it for a few months...realized all that was required to play 90% of the games released on the system was to wildly flail my arms about, got bored with it, and never turned it on again. Lack of quality titles on the Wii didn't help this much. The last time I turned on my Wii was months ago, and it was only to play SSBB with a few friends.
I can appreciate the idea of trying to create a new generation of gamers (as well as tap into the previous generations), but really, there isn't much in terms of fun quality titles of the system. There is literally NOTHING for the Wii that I think "Wow, I have to buy that!".
I don't HATE them, but I really wish they'd make games that actually appealed to me.
