sorry i tend to read things as i want to read them and checking back no one said that table top players were sad and i completely missed the bit about not starting anything.
but just to say as a game in general not just in a comparison dawn of war really is just a big pile of spunk noodles.

My favourite's the Tau, mainly because they're pretty much the only species that won't automatically annihilate you as soon as they lay eyes on you. Plus I just like their unit designs. After that is probably the 'nids, because their bio-tech is just so fascinating, followed by the Imperial Guard. It's kind of hard not to empathise with the guys, cannon fodder that they are.

You people are all wrong the real best race is in fact SQUATS, and if you don't know what they are google cannot help you. you all shall suffer death by ignorance at my hand HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!.
and people who think dawn of war is a good game should really re-evaluate what they think a good game is, dawn of war eats shit sanwiches when compared to the tabletop game.

P.S and if you think we are sad you should actualy meet some of the people who collect. a few have girlfriends (shock, horror), and some are even married to very good looking people.(that means they had to go out and actually meet girls which is more than some of you can manage)

Actually, some of us don't have oodles of cash to spend on models, paint, and hideously over-priced books, nor the time needed to meticulously paint each one of those models. Therefore, DoW is the closest we'll be getting to it.

Second thought, some self proclaimed fluff expert is gonna smack me in the face for saying that like the last two times.

I really can't give any actual explanation why I like them. Despite being rather 'meh' I really like their design, the rather dark and cold metallic theme combined with the bright neon green gauss.

They're also really good with a team mate protecting them in the computer game...

How is your opinion is right? you didn't even say anything bad about DoW just that it sucks. and I didn't go psyco, I just said don't post such asshole answers. And I do think, many of us like DoW because its FUN game to play. If you don't like it, then don't play it, easy as that. No one wrong, If you hate it then ok w/e. But don't come here and try to start trouble when I ask no one to start trouble.

Only reason I left out Dark eldar is because I didn't have room for them, and plus I thought I should just put the one mostly known by the people. I already said sorry for not having all the factions, but their just to many lol.

dark eldar have been updated scince they were came out but no new models and only a few minor rules changes in the codex.

i like the armagedon steel legion of the imperial guard. i have 2 models which i got as a hand me down and i think they look cool but i cant seem to find any of them.

The imperial guard. They are not the bioengineered warriors like the space marines, but they are human to a fault. They are human and are so in the purest sense. The thought of a regerment of guard, like the 597th Valhallains , or the tanith first and only taking on impossibe odds and winning, like the world eaters chapter, is purely awesome, who hasn't dreamed of being along characters like Uskar, or lord solaris or Slaydo, gaunt, hark, ludd, Cain, larkin, corbec, milo or even the saint herself. The guard are the best.

The Imperial Guard.

Space Marines Charge into combat wielding machine guns that shoot rockets, Prance around in impenetrable armour and fall from the skies in metal drop pods of doom.

The Imperial Guard on the other hand have basic run of the mill rifles, Wear Flak armour which in the WH40K world is next to useless and use mere parachutes. THEN they are ordered to face the Imperiums most horrifying enemies with insurmountable odds. They do this and Win.

Then those sissy Space Mahreens!!!1!!1!1one!!! show up and steal all the glory.

So I ask you, who is the braver?
