Well in my case, whoever's giving it I believe should bring the condoms.
Wait.....what?
Well, gay sex was the underlying message there, what did you get?
Aren't condoms rather... ineffective for that type of sexual encounter? Unless I guess you don't want it going everywhere.
Well you've clearly built up a rather haphazard image of Gay intercourse, seeing as Condoms are just as effective with it as vaginal intercourse.

As long as you are, in fact, a man and not a little boy I don't see any problem with you having the condoms. If she wants nookie and wants to suprise you with said nookie, then she should supply that particular condom.

But please tell me you are not 15, seemingly the average age on this board.

I say if you want to sheath your "pickle" (sorry, I don't want to say penis) Then you should bring a condom, but women should keep them in case the guy forgets.

but... you DID say penis

Ah! DUH! (that was the joke) (seriously, I DO understand that he was jokeing too)

But back on subject:

Birth Control is against my religion. So if you don't want a baby, don't have sex.
Then so to is refraining from having sex. It's a form of birth control. So, what you're saying is that you must engage in sex as an attempt to procreate as often as possible.

yeah, while that is a form of Birth Control, You know what he ment, so shut the hell up!
That, well, that stimulates conversation. And you just shot your argument in the foot. If his religion is against birth control, and refraining is a form of it, then his religion is against abstaining from sex. If it is against abstinence, then it advocates that one attempts to procreate as often as possible.

Let me clarifey: I do agree with the fact that That is TECHNICALY birth control, but that's what it is, technicaly. He stated ... "don't want a baby, don't have sex." He obviously meant "artificial" birth control, so what you two say is just argument for the sake of argument and it's annoying.

Ugh, condoms are not just for protecting against pregnancy! I swear, you'd think no one pays attention in health class anymore!
Just so you know, there are actual DISEASES that condoms can help prevent the spread of, namely HIV, syphilis, gonorrhea, etc. So condoms are a necessity, no matter what type of sex you plan on having.

Look, you really need to work on being clear. First off, it's spelled technically. And, quite frankly, it was not obvious that he meant artificial birth control, as it wasn't explicitly stated. When you leave room for misinterpretation, you invite it.

Furthermore, it did not contribute to the original post. Whether or not birth control was to be used wasn't up for debate. Who should bring it was. Furthermore, the desire to use a condom is more than just as a birth control measure. One may be infected with an STD and want to prevent transmission. Or may want to prevent transmission from occurring from an unknown infection.

So, unlike either of your posts on this, I'm going to throw in again on the subject:

Bring your own. The only person you can be responsible for is yourself. Protect yourself. In protecting yourself on this front, you can also protect others. Don't rely on him/her to care too deeply. It could end in an ugly fashion, and it's better to know that you've done right by yourself than leave it to chance.

No, I did not bring condoms to this thread. ZING!

*Read OP* Oh. Well, I guess it's the guy (for guy protection purposes). I mean, he's the only one who would know what size fits best (from the OP it's suggested that they've never done it before with each other).

If you're really prepared, then both will keep a condom or two on them. Besides, there is no dodging responsibilty when it comes to sex. Even when taking the pill etc women should still carry a condom around.

Man's responsibility, not being a believer in equal rights (because were clearly not equal in the same areas, but it evens out in other areas)

However, I prefer birth control pills when you know the girl is clean. Because frankly, wrapping it in rubber is nto a nice way to treat your best friend.

I guess the bigger question is why anyone would NOT have condoms (on them, or at least at home) unless they have completely sworn off sex (ie Marriage). They're not expensive, not hard to find, and have a ten-plus year shelf-life. I hear people go on and on about how they pay $20 a month for a cellphone they keep in their car "just incase". A three-pack of Lifestyles condoms runs $3CDN at any 7-11, Shell, Esso, Petro Canada or Husky gas station. Three bucks for ten years of protection against a much bigger OOPS than a crashed car. Can't tell me it's a bad idea.
For a long time I felt like we'd sworn off sex from the birth control until she switched to a non-hormonal form. We still don't use condoms, because we're monogamous. I realize that there's some inherent risk in that, but it's fairly small.

If I were going to stray? I'm bringing condoms and I'm going to take the responsibility to wrap up the ol' John Thomas.

Ten year shelf life if stored properly. Keeping it in your glove box or wallet will reduce it significantly. Me, I have a large stash in a drawer at home. I'll slip one in a pocket when I go out. The only time I keep them my car is when I am sure I will use it within a week or so.

Abstinence probably gets more women pregnant, or going at it unsafe.. They are of course hopped up teenagers/adults who haven't seen the grand view of things.. OF COURSE THEY WILL HAVE SEX.
