Perspective often wins in situations like these.RedEyesBlackGamer said:No, I'm a coward. I'd kill them. Huh.
Most people voting that way seem to be pretty proud of their choice - I'm thinking they haven't seriously considered the ethical ramifications of the situation.RedEyesBlackGamer said:No, I'm a coward. I actually take these questions to heart. How else do you get a true discussion on a topic of this nature going? Kids on here probably can't fully comprehend the situation.TWRule said:Most people voting that way seem to be pretty proud of their choice - I'm thinking they haven't seriously considered the ethical ramifications of the situation.RedEyesBlackGamer said:No, I'm a coward. I'm not playing your game, Joker.awesomeClaw said:Let´s play the imaginary game.
Let´s imagine you´ve been put in a room with a big glass panel separating you from ten strangers. You can see them through the glass. They look like your average middle-aged men. There is a speaker allowing you to hear what they say.
Let´s say that there were two buttons in this room.
One button results in the room the strangers are in getting lit on fire. Complete with them screaming in agony and you hearing every single second of it. But you come out okay. Noone will ever know or believe you if you tell them.
The other button will administer a lethal injection of let´s say...poison into your body. You won´t feel a thing, but you will die. The strangers however, will live on.
So. What matters most to you?
Me? Screw them, my own life is more important! Even though i´d feel like crap.
The best that can be done is first carefully consider the question asked, and second, ignore everyone who you suspect is not taking it seriously. Forums like these really aren't the best place to succeed in starting a serious discussion on something like this, though.RedEyesBlackGamer said:I actually take these questions to heart.
