Go into the settings and turn off the 360 Gamepad support or whatever. BIG improvement in FPS, UI, and mouse sensitivity.Gotham Soul said:The interface is wonky and evidently designed for consoles; it doesn't get along with a mouse very well, and sometime it doesn't even respond to a keyboard.
The graphics are pretty and better, but the races and their presets look ugly as hell. What is it you have against pretty people, Bethesda?
Also, the "professions" and crafting systems. Chopping wood is tapping the "use" button and waiting for a minute or so. I was hoping the blacksmithing would be an involved process, at least Dark Messiah of Might and Magic style where you have to melt the metal, cast it, hammer it, let it cool then attach whatever leather. I was disappointed immensely when it was just "have materials, select from dropdown menu".
Also, they removed spell-making! Why!? Why can't I make my own flamethrower spell that actually hurts more than piss past second level? The channeled spells like Sparks, Frostbite, etc. are probably some of the most useful damage spells in the game as far as mechanics go but their damage doesn't increase at all. It sucks!
As for spells...you get an upgraded version of those spells...at level 75 Destruction.
Magic is ridiculously overpowered until about level 20. Then it starts suffering HARD because Magic has a set damage that can only be increased to +50% maximum with perks. As you can imagine, since the game has level scaling...this doesn't end well.
Edit: Yet another reason why level scaling is stupid. Yes, I said it. STUPID.
