Yes I have been in your shoes. I asked him out, he said no (well he gave me a pissed off look and walked away, but it meant NO ;p), eventually started dating someone who is 100% my physical opposite, and glared at me the next 2 years till he graduated. It was all worth it too. Rather then not knowing.
