I want to contribute something new to this Wii bash thread.

"Nintendo's Wii video game system, whose popularity already extends beyond the teen gaming set, is fast becoming a craze in rehab therapy for patients recovering from strokes, broken bones, surgery and even combat injuries."
"Using the game console's unique, motion-sensitive controller, Wii games require body movements similar to traditional therapy exercises. But patients become so engrossed mentally they are almost oblivious to the rigor, Osborn said."

"According to the AP, hospitals in states like Missouri, Illinois, and North Carolina, and even Walter Reed Army Medical Center are all incorporating the Wii into physical therapy routines."

"Physical therapists at the Sister Kenny Rehabilitation Institute at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis are now using the Wii to help stroke patients recover."
"Lars Oddsson, director of the Sister Kenny Research Center, added they are looking at conducting at clinical study of the effectiveness of the Wii in helping patients recover."

"This study is a pilot, randomized trial that will examine whether the Nintendo Wii virtual gaming system is safe and feasible for use in patients who have had a recent stroke."
.... All you nay sayers should get off the soapbox and actually do some research. If the the study proves that the Wii helps medically, other studies will be made to see if this study is repeatability and true. If that is proven then the amount of Wii(what is the plural for this word?) being brought will increase.
