None, they all rely on faith and nonskeptic approaches. I could care less if they worship one less god or look cuddly during worship.

Why are people loving Buddhism? Technically if you reincarnate then you are a deity (you can never truly cease to exist).

Self-explanatory, and tell us why. Is it their ideals, some great friends from that religion, etc?
Why only atheists? There are other non-religious types out there! Of course, this has already been covered by my non-combine variant.

Anyway, I'm agnostic, and have to say Buddhism has the most appeal for me. I'm a pacifist to the bone, and I also have a few friends who've found themselves through Buddhism. Mind you, I'm not going to become a devote worshiper, but I trust in their ideals.

I find that all the 'main' religions (Christianity, Islam, etc.) have too much anger and flaws built in to the instruction manual. Not that Buddhism doesn't have flaws, but I can just identify with it the most.

Scientology, the comical factor mostly. I feel athiesm gets to appreciate scientology alot more than other beliefs.
Yes, one thing that i love with being non-religos is that you really can sit back and look at the idiocy of religos people. (Seriously a religon based on a Sci-Fi book.) Favorite: Buddhism because it got most logical thinking apart from the thing whit recarnation. (If it's spelled that way.)

I always thought Egyptian mythology was the most interesting.
So I guess I like it the most, even though I don't identify with it in any personal way.

As an aetheist i dont prefer any relegion over any other; however things like Confusionism and Budhism just have some common sense for people to think about.

all relegions basically say the same thing so whats the point in saying you like one more than the other

Because agnostics tend to not understand that agnosticism doesn't answer the question of "Do you believe in a deity?" It answers "Can we know" rather than "Do you believe".

If you believe there may be a god, you are theist.
If you believe that there is no god, you are an atheist.
If you don't know if there is or isn't a god, you are everyone on the damned planet.

Ancient Greek religion. At least the gods were very anthropomorphic and full of flaws. It was all good fun. Also there were a lack of "Kill the unbelievers" dogma that is a staple of the 3 big ones these days. It wasn't so damn serious. Or at least in another way.
And much fun reading about Athena being born from the head of Zeus who ate his father or something like that.
Hooray! Another person that said greek mythology besides me. What are your favorite gods and goddesses? I like Athena and Hermes. Athena is a great role model for women even if she is a god.
3rd here. my favorite is Zeus. he banished the Titans to Tartarus, had 5 or 6 wifes and fucked random mortals beside Hera being pissed at him. also, when he found out his future son with mnymosyne, he transformed mnymosyne into a fly and ate her. and that son we gamers know better as Kratos. also, he used thunderbolts as weapons. how cool is that? holding a 1 million volt lightning and using it as a weapon.

Buddhism as they always come across as being really intelligent, when you question them they give real world answers, not chickening out all christian style and saying "have faith" every time.

Alot of folks give Buddhism a pass. Buddhist kingdoms until recently never made war on each other or experienced sectarian violence. But, I think if we were more exposed to Buddhist dogma, those who don't consider Buddism evil might reconsider.
Like ALL major religions Buddhism doesn't specifically condemn PEDERASTY...Monks are pressed into service around age 7!!
I'm with those who tolerate NO religion.
Say what you want about my soul...just stay AWAY from my kid.

Then there is the whole issue with Tibet and what the lhamas did to their people before China stepped in. For a bunch of people that don't believe in taking a life, they had no problems with torture, starvation and exile into the frozen mountains.

taoism. cause its always hilarious in japanese anime when you have the crazy tao priest guys with magic trying to gain immortality.

or failing that... any personal faith that doesnt involve organized religion or at the very least.. doesnt involve harassing anyone about their decisions.
I also prefer Taoism.
But I'm not sure if it would count as a religion, but at any rate it is not a
deistic one. Taoism is just a set of "truths" which allows you see the world
with different eyes.

I can't help throwing in a few short quotes from "Tao Te Ching (Dao De Jing)"
http://academic.brooklyn.cuny.edu/core9/phalsall/texts/taote-v3.html
http://www.vl-site.org/taoism/ttcmerel.html
(You may have to read the 81 several translations to understand the complexity of
Lao Tzu's words.)

- ...from chapter 1: "The Way(Tao)"
The tao that can be told; is not the eternal Tao
The name that can be named; is not the eternal Name.

- ...from chapter 9: "To no extreme"
The cup is easier to hold
when not filled to overflowing.

- ...from chapter 2: "Abstraction"
When beauty is abstracted; Then ugliness has been implied;
When good is abstracted; Then evil has been implied.

- ...from chapter 11: "Tools"
Thirty spokes meet at a nave; Because of the hole we may use the wheel.
Clay is moulded into a vessel; Because of the hollow we may use the cup.

- ...from chapter 71: "Limitation"
Knowing that you do not know is true knowledge.
Not knowing that you do not know is a disease.
The wise man(Sage) recognizes the sickness as a sickness,
and does therefore not fall ill.

Technically all religions are mythology, but if I had to choose I'd go with the Norse Gods. You have to love an afterlife where all you do is fight, eat, and fuck.
