1. Beach Boys (straight up devilHard)
2. Backstreet Boys (pale imitations of the Beachers, but still rockin')
3. Coldplay (they were well hard as coffin nails 'till "la vida whatsit"
4. Avril Lavigne (oh such rage; "WHAY YA HADDA GO MAKE THINGS SO COMPLICATED DAMMIT?!")
5. Bob Dylan (Possibly the only serious entry on my list - I've headbanged to about 5 of his songs)
This is the weakest trolling attempt I have ever seen.

I don't want an order, so these are in vague order, but are subject to change.

1. Trivium
2. Metallica
3. Fear Factory
4. Killswitch Engage
5. Slipknot and System of a Down are tied

I have been listening to a lot of Mnemic and In Flames lately though.

Only the classics baby, all the new "Metal" bands simply involve sounding like a binging Cookie Monster fingering a guitar like it was the crotch of a loved one and had only a vague idea of where her clitorus was and failing about as badly as a Palsy victum performing Brain surgery with a pipewrentch. All (for a lack of a better word) Flash and no Substance.
1.Black Sabbath
2.Judas Priest
3.Metallica
4.Dio
5.Motorhead
And if anyone complains that I'm slamming their favorite bands, notice I never mentioned any names (only a general time frame so there could be exceptions, hint hint)and if you think I'm talking about your fav then it says more about what you think about your music than I do so don't spam my e-mail or my account with your Bullshit MOTHERFUCKERS!

Some people seem to have a very loose definition of what metal is.
It's upsetting to see names like Slipknot (outside of the Iowa album) come up. I get it, you think they're great.
But they aren't metal.
Believe it or not, there are more stipulations to being a "metal" band than heavy distortion and harsh vocals (Hence why -core bands are usually not considered metal).

Anyways...

1. Opeth
2. Tool
3. Behemoth
4. My Dying Bride
5. Virgin Black

EDIT:

To the person who said that Tool aren't metal, you're quite mistaken, I assure you.
They're progressive metal, not progressive rock.
Rush are progressive rock.
There are significant differences between Tool and Rush.
Oh? It was me who said it was progressive rock. I guess I am mistaken, but even if there are differences between Tool and Rush, it's good to have variety in your music.

You want to see me being a "Hateful Dick" then do exactly what you're doing and hoot an holler about a simple comment that never names names of the affermentioned pergery of music.
If I think that your musical taste is shit why should it matter to you? You like it and thats all that matters so don't ***** and moan about my opinion because it doesn't affect you in anyway! The fact that your getting offended is proof that I'm getting to close to the truth and it struck a cord with you and didn't want to admit it so you go into denial and complain about it and waste other peoples time with your Verbal Diarrhea. So try not being a Whiney ****. Thanks. :)
And to anyone else who wants to ***** at me then please through yourself out of an airplane and land ass first on the spire of Winchester Cathedral!

Most of my music is more considered Symphonic metal though, those were my heavier metal favourites.

Electric Wizard (mmmmm, bass)
Black Sabbath (Paranoid = best metal album ever by far)
Converge (sooo heavy)
BORIS (Wata shreds like a mad woman!)
Rammstein/Turmion Kaitilot (I can't decide because they sound very similar)
