When did I say that just because I've seen some average movie that made me an expert? Dude I'm just speaking my opinion, from my own experiences and from people I know and from what I've read here. I'm not looking for a fight or to feel dominant superior or anything, just trying to help and voice my opinion.
How the hell did you think that would help?!
That won't, all that will do is get you off my back about something so completely trivial I can't believe we're actually arguing about it

I don't know how common or uncommon it might be, but your example isn't the same thing. You said he is having an affair with another man, so presumably he does know he is gay XD
Ahh touche, but you see my point do you not? It's similar and would obviously go back before he started the affair with another man...

Yeah, maybe you should stop posting on a subject you clearly know nothing about.

If it's meaningless fun, why turn it down?
Answered your own question.
Seriously, massive chip on your shoulder about this or what? Almost any activity we take enjoyment from in this world is meaningless in the grand scheme of things, does that mean we shouldn't take enjoyment from them whenever we can, isn't that what makes life worth living, y'know having fun?

Yea I see your point, but we are heading way off topic with this one into the realms of 'are gay people born gay or turned gay by society/life events?' I dont know the answer, I'm not gay. (yet anyway)

Sometimes the meaningless things are the most fun... In fact most of the time they are but there I go again off topic...
To get back on, I think we all agree he's not weird...

For my own part, I will go with faulty programming. Sex, and especially people who partake in casual sex, disgust me to my very core.
No religion involved (thank Jesus Nonexistent Christ for that.)

Instead of wishing to continue my genetic line, I'd rather just live forever.
Perhaps there are people who get grossed off the other way around.

Turning down sex does not make you gay, frustrated, stupid or evolutionarily challenged, friend. Don't listen to these people.

I have turned down sex due to having feelings towards someone else and the someone else has now been my girlfriend for over a year. Every situation is different and I say if you really have feelings for the other girl then go for it with her, other people's vaginas don't matter when you genuinely feel for a person.

And if she says no you can always go back and beg the first girl for sex to ease your rejection :D

Yes, I do have a chip on my shoulder about this, for good reason.
I'm in the minority in this - it's only natural I get sick of it.

And that's not true. Everything is meaningless.
And you can take enjoyment from what you'd like, but I don't find enjoyment in those sorts of activities.
Just, mostly, disgust.
Completely agree. Alot of people use this 'pleasure seeking as normal behaviour' as an excuse, while sex is fun it has consequences. Like disease, progeny and emotional baggage. If your unaware that these things come with sex and can be a big issue for other people I doubt you have enough experience or empathy to relate to the subject.
the condom exists for a really long time now, and it actually helps quite well against STDs (sexually transfered deceases) and pregnancy.

Over-analysing much? Seriously, if both parties want to, then you do, that's just how it happens. You obviously didn't want to, fair enough.

It's the people who really struggle to ever make a move with a member of the opposite sex who complain about others not having 'respect'

If a guy is too shy to make a move he'll just say "Oh, I'm not like that, I have too much self respect to be like 'that'" I personally find this insulting to the person he didn't make a move on because he is essentially presuming that they are too stupid or ignorant of their own feelings to decide for themself.

Good for you, but as I was once told by a stupid wise man...Every one you pass up is one you'll never get back.

Please see my first post in this thread, already covered that almost to the exact same points actually.

I just turned down sex.
is that wierd.
the girl is smoking hot and what not great personality.
but theres someone else im aiming for.
and i believe turning down sex is a hard thing to do when the mans in a dry season...
anyone else have problems doing this?

EDIT: This is aimed toward both the female and male community of the escapist, and im hoping everyone can be mature about this
Do what comes naturally if sex came naturally then go for it

but if you naturally didn't want to then just chill back

(Although i still think it's a bad idea to turn down sex)

Wich reason would that be? What have they done to you? It's not like people are humping your legs....right....right?

*ahem*

As for the OP, I'm sure you had your reasons. I don't see why it would make you gay or stupid or whatever, I'd turn her down as well if she barely means anything for me.
