a couple of years ago i had a gf i had been with for about 7 months at the time. and lets face it she was a nymfo, she was nice sweet and kind but she couldnt get enough. so after 4 times the day before. at about 3am she woke me up and got on top of me. now this wasn't unusual for her so it wasnt any thing new. any how i was really tired as most people are at 3 am so i said maybe later. any way she got so offended we didnt have sex for about 2 weeks (long time for a 17 y o) and it all went down hill from there. we broke up 3 months later...any who as i was saying

Although I've never had a dry spell, I do understand turning down sex, I mean, it IS overrated in many ways and after dating at least one girl for more than 1 year, she knows what she's doing, so after you've broken up with her, you realise most women suck at it (It's not just men who often suck at sex, most women are horrible and you have to handle them throughout the experience... In other words, you better know what you are doing or else you'll be bad at it and her lack of skill won't make it any better. No matter how good looking she is... I have Herculean standards on superficial appearance, so yeah...)
Plus anyway, after you've lost count of the number of sexual encounters you've had in your life due to 3 years of alcohol abuse, some very light drug usage and the blurred names of countless women, you start to wonder what you want in life. This often leads to looking for that "True Love" people keep talking about... So yeah... all that to say, turning down sex when you don't "Love" (I use this word somewhat skeptically and completely out of speculation seeing as I have no proof of it's existance) is not entirely abnormal.

How can you say you never want to have sex, without having ever tried it? Thats like saying I don't like peanut butter without trying it.

I think I see a very thin veil of an excuse for why you are still a virgin, you don't need to make excuses to people just because its 'unusual' to still be a virgin at age X (insert your age here).
