"Heh, thats all you have right now? Well then, if theres going to be a final stand may as well make it now, you there!" Falkner said, pointing to the stands and singling out Jason Cole. "Your the last one here? Good, then both of you, and one of me" he said as the other trainer made his way down to the fighting space provided, his small Bagon following him down.
"Well then, now that all of us are here then lets finish this" the gym leader said as he unleashed his final two pokemon. A Taillow and a Wingull were now perched before him on the ground.
"Now then, both of you, start things off with a Wing Attack!" Falkner ordered as both birds took to the air and flew towards the Bagon and Cyndaquil team, their wings outstretched as they gathered speed.
Gereld called for Cindy to try and dodge it, and she ducked down close to the floor but Jason didnt say anything, the Bagon took the hit and it spun on its heel from the force of the Wingulls blow. But instead of showing pain, it simply got angry.
"Wingull, use a Watergun to cool that little lizard down" he said as the seagull-esque pokemon suddenly banked and came down low to blast the Bagon, but Gereld took this chance to act.
"Cindy, cut it off with a Tackle" he quickly said as the small firey pokemon ran at the Wingull, while it didnt make it in time before it made it's attack and had the Bagon fall over backwards, but Cindy managed to pin it to the ground. But it quickly disregarded this as it seemed to only get angrier.
"Bagon good, now use your Rage attack to take out that Wingull!" Jason commanded as the baby dragon didnt have to think twice about it before running and outright pummeling the pinned pokemon with a plethora of punches, kicks, and bites.
"Taillow! Break him out of there with a Quick Attack" Falkner quickly said as the red and white bird quickly blurred as it charged to knock the other two pokemon off it's comrade. It managed to knock off the Cyndaquil and push back the Bagon long enough for the injured bird to try and take flight. It made a few flaps into the air but it wasnt fit to fight in any way. Falkner returned it to its ball without comment
"Okay, down to my last pokemon. Well, may as well make you work for it, Taillow, use Double Team and another Wing Attack" Falkner said cooly, the pokemon responded by spreading it's wings out flickering for a second before suddenlt there were two of them. They both took to the air and charged at them for another strike, they made a few passes and struck Cindy and Bagon quicker then they could follow.
"How are we supposed to hit this?" Jason said as the Bagon started hopping around and trying to hit the passing bird pokemon.
Cindy seemed to be working on something, she was rearing up on her hind legs and suddenly spewed out a black cloud of smoke. This Smokescreen fogged the entire arena, throwing off the Taillows balance as it came close to the ground, Cindy could see just fine and could see bird come in low by accident as it lost itself in the smog. Cindy took this chance to run at the pokemon again, but nothing else could be seen.
Suddenly, the Taillow flew out of the cloud and landed in front of Falkner.
"Heh, nice try but it seems my bird came out on..." he stopped as the bird faded, it was the double-team version. The smoke cleared and inside all of the trainers could see the Taillow, unconcious and both Bagon and Cindy standing by it triumphantly.
