I just recently realized you could trade Emblems in bulk in WoW, after having done at least 500 trades one-by-one
....You can trade them in bulk?

Sim City 2000, I had no idea I could control the taxes or anything. When that screen showed up I just always hit exit and went back to the game.

Have you ever noticed something just hidden or never talked about ingame, that was just so painfully obvious, that you just feel stupid afterwards, either it be you finally finding it out, or someone telling you, has this ever happened to you, and with what?...

I just realized yesterday, that my Pipboy in Fallout 3 had a built in flashlight in it that was toggled by holding down the Tab button longer.(have been playing Fallout 3 for the past 3-4 months now)
I knew it was there somewhere.....
I always thought the screen saying you could toggle your pipboy light meant turning the background light off. I spent 1/2 an hour screwing around with it trying to become more stealthy, then I just gave up on stealth.

Final Fantasy VIII, I didn't know you could Junction magic until about halfway through the second disc (give me a break, I was 10).

Final Fantasy VII, I didn't really know how to use Materia properly until the Shinra building, and even then I had a very limited knowledge. But it's ok, I figured it out.

WOW that is really truly an achievement there. No phoenix downs for you. Must have been hell for ya.

WE NEED TO TELL THE PRESS!
I didn't know that and I have all of the achievements as well. The guy who first found out must be a fallout prodigy.

Actually, I'd picked up a lot of RPG playing techniques from my older brother, so I was generally about 10 levels higher than I needed to be at any given time from grinding incessantly.

I can recall plenty of battles I would have run from, though, if I'd known I could. There were many, many, many times where I'd come out of a boss fight all battered and bruised with half my party dead and the other half poisoned, eager to find an Inn and a save point, only to get wiped out by a random encounter on the way out of the dungeon. Frustrating.

I only found out about the Pipboy light, because a hint came up about it on one of the loading screens, did not know about the water, and I still haven't figured out how to put your weapon away without unequipping it either? :D

If you're playing on the PC I think you have to hold down the reload buttion (default R), if not try holding F or maybe G or...you have to hold down a button. Try R. Then google.

I get a lot of that feeling when playing Demon's Souls, half the stuff I find out I didn't even know I could do in the game itself like "The fuck, I killed that mother fucking thing?!?! How the hell did I do that!" and using the emotes.
I got to the emote menu once by accident, but haven't figured out how to get back to the goddamn thing yet...

When I first started playing Monster Hunter I didn't know you could make or set traps for like 3 months. yeah...that sucked.

for the longest time in WoW I didn't know num-lock auto-moved your character. holding W down and trying to guild chat was a pain.

I feel your pain. Mind you, being an eternal optimist, I rarely do run.
