"Hmm ... yes, this is a good thing to consider. I hope we will be able to visit Faotar at least in some way." Anik said. Finding the dragging of the corpse over the rocky terrain quite cumbersome, she asked soon after: "So ... can we bury the animal here?"

"Not yet. Just a bit further", Timea answered, then responded to Anik's first comment. "If we can't climb the mountain, I can fly you up to it. I won't be able to safely carry two people, but I'll have to make two trips. As for something you forgot; Asking about fruits. A market would be the best place to do that."

North Eastern Road - Day 10 - 21:57​

Reaching the spot a little over a two minutes, Timea stopped, crouching down. "This is it. I'll start loosening up the ground." With this said, Timea grew short claws from her fingertips, and began prodding in the earth.

A short time after starting, she said, "When asking for the others, if there aren't any guards at the entrance, or if they don't know anything, try asking at a hotel. If the others passed through, they might have stopped there, to rest."

"We definitely should hope Faotar waits up there, then." Anik said, not wanting someone to be left alone. "And fruits, right."

North Eastern Road - Day 10 - 21:57

Anik stopped behind Timea as she stated it was the right spot to dig, letting the legs of the animal drop on the ground. She answered: "A hotel? I do not know this word. You mean something like an inn, right? Alright, I'll try asking there as well. Although ... if it is like you have stated, I doubt really anyone came through. If the others did diplomatic work, they probably headed to Vala, the military centre."

"A hotel is a building where people pay to sleep. If you know those places by "inn", then yes", Timea clarified, not knowing the word "inn", herself. "Hmm. If Vala is this, it would make sense they would go there. Still, it couldn't hurt to ask, just to be sure. Oh, and it might be a good idea to ask about if flint can be found in this area, too."

After saying this, Timea scooted to a different position, saying, "A small sidetrack: the ground, here, is loosened, now. You can make a start in digging."

"It says they're quite rare, but it doesn't know if that's because this is limited to just a few people or if anyone can do it and most just don't try." Robin told Cybil. "We could ask around here."

"Huh?" Anik made, surprised. "Flint? Why do you want to ask about flint? ... do you want to make a fire without runes?"

She came closer to Timea, crouched down and felt the ground for the loose parts, then started digging, after saying: "Alright. Thank you."

"That's right. We've talked about this, before, remember? I feel this would be a necessary skill to have, if only as a back-up, should the runes you use now ever fail you, for what ever reason. It's hardly a priority, but if you'll be waiting for a while, you may as well ask."

Anik frowned deeply at this. "I ... don't really want to make fire like this. But I'll ask, alright. I just ... I don't know. I'm sure I'll burn my fingers."

The digging went faster as some time before, even though it took longer because of the size of the caribou. Still, Anik did not care about getting dirt on her fingers or scratching her hands on some little rocks anymore, like she had done the first time she was instructed to bury something.

Robin nodded, standing and smoothing out his coat and his hair. He went looking for one of the guards, hoping to find Ana's brother but willing to talk to any of them.

"I'll try making a fire myself, first, so I'll know what would the best way to teach you. If I find it's impossibly to do it blind, safely, we can forget about it.

Finishing burying the caribou after some 18 minutes, Timea patted the earth, and stood up, taking a second look at the surrounding area, to commit the spot to memory, then said "okay, this should do it. Let's continue on."

Moving back onto the road, and setting off eastwards again, Timea would continue being silent unless spoken to for the remainder of the journey.

Anik followed, now using her cane, staying silent for most of the time as well. Just shortly before they were arriving at a place to rest, she spoke up. "So, I want to ask Faotar about my strength - and maybe what he wants in this world. But - what do you want to ask him? Maybe we could coordinate our questions."

Mathan Daer Area - Day 10 - 24:30​

Drawing close to Mathan Daer after three hours, Timea looked the area over, listening to Anik as she spoke.

"Well, I want to ask him about what his relation with Calibeth was, if he created the animals on Vesh that would later become the Vesh'Rah, and what he thinks of it, if he did. I also want to ask why his rituals are identical to Et's. I'll also inform him about what this Quan Chi is doing; Being the one that presides over life and death, he might be convinced to stop someone who goes around perverting the cycle of life.

Lastly, I want to ask if we've been blessed, since we've had remarkable good luck in finding prey. That is all I can think of, right now. I might think of more once we actually talk to him."

"Hmm." Anik thought. "The relationship to Calibeth might be a good question. If I am assuming correctly, he probably does not know too much about Et, if only the moon and the sun gods came from him - unless he actually came from Et as well. So he either created all the animals ... or just all these on Vesh. I wonder about that.

If he could be convinced to do something about Quan Chi, that might be good ... but judging from our experiences with the moon goddess, that she could only really do stuff and talk in her domain ... that might be the case with Faotar as well, as he did not speak to me when I got his strength ... it just felt differently."

"But your last question ... do you really think we've had luck? It took us some time to find prey. Does it normally take even longer? I mean, it certainly could be that we got his favour ... but I did not really think about it until now."

Timea would see Mathan Daer up ahead, the city made of marble and built on and around the mountains in the area. An orange glow caused by the braziers and fires along the walls, in the streets and within homes would make the city prominent, since it's white walls would possibly blend into the rock and snow of the mountains.

You pull the cloak on, a little haphazardly as you've never before worn a cloak. You then follow Quan Chi through the portal.

Spoiler: Physical description of Shara, because it's overdue

Upper body: Shara wears an armour-vest, made from a durable and heat-resistant material. It varies in thickness, being at most four centimetres at the back and at least two centimetres on the sides. The material is somewhat bendable, so the loss of mobility is negligible. It has two inner pockets, one of which Shara uses to hold a concussive grenade. Ordinarily, the vest shows several patches on the left side of the chest, including a bounty-hunter insignia, the logo of one courier organization and a mercenary crest. The latter resembling a red branch. However, due to Quan Chi's spell these have been replaced by the mark on Quan Chi's forehead.

Lower body: A pair of durable trousers, made from the same material of the vest but thinner. They have plenty of pockets, and are also padded on the knees to make kneeling down more comfortable. Originally grey, they've become black with a blood-red stripe down the outside due to Quan Chi's spell. She wears boots with steel caps, black with blood-red details. A red belt holds up the trousers, and also carries her blaster along with small pockets for extra ammunition and small tools.

Beneath these clothes she wears a tight pressure suit. It is designed to counteract the effects that vacuum has on the human body, along with helping protect against the high G-forces endured during space combat. It is somewhat thick due to a built-in climate control system and the G-force protection system. These systems can be accessed and adjusted through a small screen on the left arm, along with anything else linked to it. Originally navy-blue and black, this suit has become a menacing dark red and black, with the control screen now glowing red when active. The upper and lower parts of the suit separate, as do the gloves. A helmet can be attached, allowing for short exposure to vacuum in emergencies.

"Well, yes. Other than one time for me, neither of us have ever gone without food. By that alone, we've had better luck than I've had on days, back on my own world. And, from my point of view, in hardly any time, at all. It regularly happened that I needed to travel vast distances to find something worthwhile to eat; Think the distance from... central Calibeth, to Vesh", Timea explained, trailing off for a moment near the end of her response, as she compared distances. "Of course, I eat vastly more than you do, and have stolen twice, to get my fill. But still."

Shortly after speaking, Timea stopped walking and sat down, tilting her head as she looked the city over, taking in the sights, picking out the most noteworthy things to relay to Anik, later.

"Alright, I guess you really would search longer for something big enough for you to eat ... but you can last days without foods? Judging by your ... hunger, I would have guessed that it was more important for you to have something. A bit shortsighted of me to think that, though." Anik said.

As Timea stopped and sat, Anik stopped as well, wondering if they were near a good place to rest. Still, she asked: "Do you see something?"

"I need some help." Robin told one of the guards. "I'm looking for mages that can cast a certain spell. Is there any way to round them up?"

Quan Chi exited the alleyway, strolling through the city, noting the various blacksmiths, armours and other combat focused businesses. "This place seems to be ready for war." he mused as he looked for spellcasters.
