"You are correct." Faotar replied, with a voice that would feel like it originated within Timea, Hillary and Anik's own minds rather than an actual sound being made. Additionally, it would sound neither masculine nor feminine. Faotar then looked to Anik and said, "You may. Though my knowledge of the other deities is limited; I have been here for quite a while."

Hearing a voice inside her minds, Timea shuddered a little, still not used to the feeling of this. Faotar's sexless voice also threw her off, although this not nearly as much as the way it was delivered.

She was quiet for a moment, then spoke. "To begin, what is... or rather - was - your standing with Calibeth? Were you and he allies?"

"Thank you." Anik said, then listened to what Timea was asking. Even though she was also not used to hearing the voice inside her own head, Anik had more respect of it, speaking to another god, than anything else.

"And, as we are speaking about your relation to the gods," Anik added, after Timea had asked her question: "Were you, as he and Atarakka, the moon goddess, born of the same source, the god Et?"

"No, never." Faotar replied in response to Timea's query. The deity then responded affirmatively to Anik, stating, "As far as I am aware, yes, this was the case."

"If you were not allies, do you know why Calibeth allowed your follows to continue worshipping you, then? Rather than stamp the practice out, as he did with worship of other gods?" Timea questioned, a little confused. "And, why did you allow your followers to act on Calibeth's doctrine, using your blessings to do so?"

Wondering if she should let Timea ask the questions, Anik nevertheless chimed in: "But you were not born at the same time, right? What do you remember of your birth and ... were you and Calibeth enemies, then? Or just neutral to each other?"

"I have no idea. That is something you would have to ask Calibeth himself." Faotar stated. "Though, to my knowledge, Calibeth's military struggled to fight in the northern regions, and the conclusion of the conflict was less bloody. As for why I allow my followers to do this, it is because nothing the Calibethans order them to do conflicts with my own doctrines." The wolf then told Anik, "We were neutral. I ignored him, and most of the other deities, and they ignored me."

"Hmm. I see. It would be rather hard to ask him, now, however", Timea responded, letting out a faint, single chuckle at the end of her sentence. "Well, sticking to the subject of your relation to the other gods; Did you create the animals on Vesh, before Akatarra changed them?"

"You speak of your own doctrines, and I know that you are the god of hunting ... could you say what you're doctrines are?"

"I did not. The deity known in the Empire as Avinah create the wildlife of this world." Faotar stated to Timea, before telling Anik, "The primary rules are about how to act while hunting. How much to hunt, what to hunt, how to treat the bodies and so on. Further rules are to protect the people that need it, and to uphold laws. Including those put in place by other gods, such as Calibeth."

"I can respect that." Anik said. "As I have these blessings from you ... are there things I should avoid doing?" She considered asking if she should follow any rules as well, but, in Timeas presence did not really want to do so. "And, as you might imagine, I have some questions about these, as well. First: Does it take strength from you, to give these?"

"But a time when I spoke to one of the women of faith, following you, she said you presided over nature; Specifically, the birth and death of animals", Timea mentioned, sounding a little confused. "Was this plainly incorrect, or did this domain come into effect, only after the wildlife was created?"

Hearing Faotar's doctrine included upholding the law, Timea wondered if he knew about her stealing cattle, twice. She also wondered what he thought of her hunting principles, and wanted to ask about this, but kept off on this, until later.

"I think we are trying to do this already." Anik said, and smiled. "Alright. And it is not only borrowed from you, right? Or would it, presuming we would be ... out of the reach of your power, like in a different world, vanish, and go back to you?"

"I see. Well, that concludes this topic", Timea stated.

When Anik had asked her question, Timea was quiet. When she would get her answer, Timea asked, "Now that the nature of your blessings has been mentioned; I had a question about this, as well. Being, your blessings, and the rituals used to attain them are identical to another god, which my companion and I call Et. Why is this?"

Faotar silently considered the answers to both Timea and Anik's questions, obviously having never thought of these things before. The deity responded after a little over a minute of pondering. "I could not say, definitively. The power is a part of you, but without a connection to me it fades. The question, then, is whether or not traveling to a different world would sever the connection, and that is something I do not know. And as for why my blessings are shared with Et, I would assume that this is because I came from Et originally. As for the shared rituals, I do not know the reason for this."
