"Hmm ... I guess it really depends on how much the worlds are connected, then. I will find out about it. I ... umm ... I guess I don't have any more questions about these blessings.

So instead I ask this: Do you interact with the other gods occasionally, or is this something you have no interest in?"

Mt. Faotar, Caverns - Day 11 - 21:06

Timea patiently stood by as Faotar considered the answers, moving her hand away from Anik, and placing her hands on her hips. Once Anik's, and her own questions were answered, Timea let out a soft "hmm."

When Anik asked her next question, Timea stayed quiet, for now, and awaited what the answer would be.

"Avinah and I communicate quite often, but that is it. I avoid the other deities when possible, since I have no interest in their warring."

"That is nice." Anik said, thinking of some kind of pseudo romance between the two gods. Also finding no interest in warring commendable, of course. "So ... still, do you know anything about the god you came from? What his plans are? He did not seem interested in warring, but neither did he seem interested in really keeping out of it ... he probably brought us in this world. Could you think of a reason why he would do something like that?"

Mt. Faotar, Caverns - Day 11 - 21:07

While waiting for Faotar to answer Anik, Timea grimaced as her stomach rumbled. After Faotar answered, Timea spoke up again. "Another question from me. As you might be aware, there is an offworlder on this world, killing people, and using their resurrected bodies as slaves. Will you allow this perversion of the natural order?"

Vala, day 11, 10:00

Robin, having rested and eaten, was sat in the library looking for anything relevant or similar to Shara's curse.

"No, I can think of no possible reasons." Faotar told Anik, before saying to Timea, "I did not know this, but I will not let this stand. What can you tell me about this person?"

Hearing Faotar's answer to her question, a small smile came onto Timea's face, happy with it. "Well, his name is Quan Chi, or at least, that's how his slave called him. He has skin, as white as snow, is bald, and with sunken eyes. He stands about this tall--" she began to explain, briefly pausing to indicate Quan Chi's height with her hand. "And has a muscular, but lean built. He... sounds somewhat like this... and when has red markings on the top of his head, forehead, shoulders, and forearms." There was another small pause in-between Timea imitating Quan Chi's voice, and reverting back to her own. While accurate, she didn't perfectly imitate the voice, as she didn't alter her voice box too much to do so.

"He's a sorcerer, whose magic includes the aforementioned resurrection, and ability to create "doorways" between locations, for instantaneous travel. I don't know how, precisely, either of these things work. He can also either see through the eyes of his slaves, or use some other means to see things, while not being anywhere close by." Timea then went on to describe the key features of Quan Chi's clothing.

"The last place we saw him was in Femesh Daer, although this was a day ago, approximately. That's all I know."

Anik was surprised by Faotars willingness to intervene. She added, to what Timea was saying: "He has a dark heart, but is loyal to someone else, I don't know who.

But he has turned a ... friend. And I would not want to risk her life. Therefore, I ask of you, that, if you can intervene, you do not kill him, but let us ... or yourself find out how to turn her back.
... In what way would you be able to stop this person?"

Faotar nodded silently, committing the details Timea had given to memory. In response to Anik's question, the deity stated, "I would be able to slay him. Or, more precisely, have him slain by others. I doubt my own intervention would be necessary, but I am not against this. Keeping him alive is possible, but given his ability to travel long distances, I may only be able to do this through inaction."

"I doubt he can just do it with a snap of his fingers." Anik stated, "So if we were to find out how to prevent him from traveling, we could do more. ...

This is your domain. Can you find out where he is? Or even, what things he does to travel and to do ... the other things?"

"With the information you have given me, I cannot track this person down, or find out how he travels." Faotar replied.

"Perhaps if he could be stunned before he has a chance to escape, then restrained, I don't think he could use this ability any longer. At least, I presume so, given this ability was specifically described as walking through doorways", Timea commented, after a moment of being quiet to let Anik chime in.

"I would say this is preferable, not only for the sake of the one he enslaved, but moral grounds, as well. But it should, of course, be considered that the longer roams free, the more might fall victim to his magic."

"So ... you basically just can try to restrain him, when he shows up? Or kill him, but that we don't want right now." Anik asked. "It could be that he does come after us ... if he has any way of knowing where we are. If not, we might never find him again. So ... I don't really know what we should do.

Anyways, you said that you could send people after him? How had you thought to do this, if you can't track him down? Also just waiting until he shows up somewhere where you have people?"

"I cannot track him down with the information provided to me by you." Faotar replied to Anik, putting stress on the last part. "If the locations he has been to were investigated directly, a trail may appear, and it could be followed. But currently, I have no such trail."

"He appeared to me in the inn in Femesh Daer, in an upper room." Anik said. "But he appeared and disappeared like out of nowhere. You can't track that down, or can you?"

After chiming in herself, Timea stayed quiet for a moment again, to let Anik talk. Although she changed her mind on this when her stomach rumbled again. "If I might interject: I need to go out and hunt, but it's not safe for my companions to be on their own, with the threat of people appearing out of thin air. Could they stay here, for the time being?"

"I would have to try in order to find out." Faotar told Anik, before nodding in response to Timea's question.

Seeing Faotar's eyes move up and down, Timea assumed he nodded as confirmation. Kneeling down, Timea released the bands securing Hillary, and got up again once Hillary got off. "Right. I'll see you in a bit", she said to her companions, then untied the rope around her waist, and turned to leave.

Unable to see in the pitch black darkness, she had the hide covering the fire blanket retract, the fire illuminating the way.

"Well, then you should probably try it." Anik said. "Anyways, thank you that you are trying to help in this case.

I ... don't really know any more questions. But - are these wolves yours or ... your friends? Are they special in some way?"

As Timea left, Anik waved and said: "See you soon.", not considering that Timea wouldn't see, and also not thinking about the fact that she had led Timea into the cave, but she was now going outside on her own.
