As Timea explained about the camel's face, Anik got up again, and limped over, to feel the face more intently. "A lot against sand ... this is quite good.

How does a sack attract mates, however? I don't really understand? Is this a visual thing, or does it change the voice or something?" Anik added, interested in this topic. "And sex sitting down? How? You mean, one sits down, the other does it from behind?"

The other mercs tightened their formation, strengthening each other so Jantra couldn't pull that trick again.

"Visual, but also sound based. They puff this sack up, and hang it dangling out of the mouth. Imagine a tongue, absolutely bloated, and dripping with thick spit - that is what this sack looks like when in use. Presumably, this signals good health and fertility. As for how the sound comes in, it lets them produce a certain... floppy noise in their calls.

I'm not sure how to form the sack, so I couldn't replicate the call perfectly, but here is my best attempt... ." Shifting the structure of her throat and nasal cavity, Timea took a breath, and imitated a few camel mating calls [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nn4vJbHOMPo], but not as loudly as the real thing would be. So to not give the people of Vala nightmares.

Stopping after a minute, Timea reverted her throat structure back to its default state, and cleared her throat. "... Ahem. It's all arousing for lady . Horrible for everything else~!" With this said, Timea let out a laugh.

"As for your second question; That's correct. The female sits, while the male does his business. The lumps on the back makes it impossible to do it any other way."

Vala, Day 11, 25:28

Jantra circled around to the opposite side of the mercs as the soldiers, hoping that they'd leave themselves open to either him or the soldiers projectiles. "Surrender, or suffer the- wait, you probably can't surrender..."

Vala Area - Day 14 - 10:14

"...what?" Anik asked about the first explanation, understanding it, but finding it extremely strange.

As Timea was announced that she was replicating the calls, Anik was glad at first, it making it much more possible for her to imagine it. When Timea started however, Anik fell on her back, laughing, after about five seconds. She tried to get back up and stop, but when Timea started another call, laughed so hard, that she could not manage to do it.

At the time Timea was finished, Anik was giggling to herself. She answered, still lying on her back, giggling every two seconds: "You are right. That is horrible."

She snorted, trying to stop giggling. "The poor , only being able to do this one position. And not even a very good one. I like different ones much better. That's probably why they create these horrible noises." She giggled again, not seeming to stop anytime soon, but at least she was now managing to sit back up.

"We serve Lord Shinnok!" Three of the mercs chanted as one as another Jantra wasn't keeping an eye on came from his left swinging a mace at his belly.

Vala Area - Day 14 - 10:16​

Once she finished the imitation, Timea smirked widely at Anik's bout of laughter, occasionally snickering herself, but otherwise kept herself composed.

Having worked on removing the organs while speaking, and doing the imitation, Timea began producing water to clean them with, but was interupted by Anik's second comment, whereupon Timea laugher heartily again, needing to place her hands on the ground behind her to keep herself from falling over while she laughed.

"Hah! That's it, I'm sure~! Oh, woe to them." She laughed for a few seconds longer, then shook her head, and continued washing the organs.

Vala - Day 11 - 25:23

As Quan Chi hit the ground, Cybil swung her baton down against his chest, hoping to knock the wind out of him.

Vala Area - Day 14 - 10:16

"Indeed." Anik laughed and stood up again, basically with one leg. She limped back to the rocks with bag and hare, and started to skin the hare further, as she realized that she should have put out the organs first.

Cutting the belly open, she removed the organs and washed the inside out with her water glove, then got back to skinning, after which she removed the head. Then she drew lines in the sand, to create a fire with the rune.

"So ... what about you? Do you have the same biological needs?" she asked, after she had stopped giggling.

The mace dented Jantra's armor, and he collapsed to the ground. He struggled to breathe as the damaged armor didn't allow his gut to expand as much when he inhaled.

Vala Area - Day 14 - 10:16​

"Only at specific points in time, naturally, coinciding with the time I would be looking for romance. Any other time, I'm really not interested", Timea answered, in-between producing water. "How other creatures may seek a mate only once a season, the same principle applies with my kind. Only that instead of just a season, it lasts a very long time, as a human might perceive time."

Vala Area - Day 14 - 10:16

"Ah, I guess this does make sense." Anik chuckled. "I just wondered ... since you just appeared out of nowhere or something. But you already told ... hmm ... do you mind me asking about the others? Or is this not the time?" she added, more serious.

The mace wielder lifted his weapon high to deliver the coup de grâce, but left himself open.

Vala Area - Day 14 - 10:17​

"Well. Maybe I could produce offspring by having a body part severed. I wouldn't know, I haven't tried. And I do think I would like to keep it this way", Timea joked, showing she wasn't particularly bothered by Anik's question. "Anyway, ask what you will."

With the organs washed, Timea picked one up, and held it over the fire, looking back to the carcass while doing so, considering if she should go through the effort of shaving the camel's thick fur, not particularly keen on filling her mouth with this.

Vala Area - Day 14 - 10:17

"Alright." Anik said. "So you did have a mate, right? And you both left each other after a while, just because that is what you do ...
Did you have any offspring?"

Being finished with preparing the hare, Anik started to roast torso and legs over her fire.

Vala - Day 11
You're hit in the back by something, instantly being paralysed and falling forward onto the ground. The portal is only a metre ahead of you, but can only groan as Quan Chi orders you to hurry.

"I do, yes", Timea answered, now speaking more seriously, too. But also half wondering if Anik didn't remember the times Timea said she had. "I laid eggs, twice. Once, in the early days, and later, more recently. The young ones of both are all grown up, and have flown the nest. I wonder how they're doing. Often, really... ", she answered, trailing off for a moment from the train of thoughts, with one mind, while keeping watch of what she was doing, with an other. "I might be great grandmother, now."

[color=9f2089]"Yeah, no, don't strain yourselves or anything, I've got everything handled. Why don't you just grab a bite to eat in fact?"[/color] Cybil sarcastically called to the guards still standing bone-idle outside the cell as she tried to find a long-term method to restrain Quan Chi.

"Very nice." Anik said. "I do remember you telling me that you had offspring now, but I wondered what became of them. With you not knowing, well this answers this, kind of.

I ... had feared worse when I sensed your heart, to be honest." she smiled. "A great grandmother? This is nice. I guess it's not your type to look after them ... even though you wonder how they are doing.
Did you never see them again? And, if I may ask, how long ago was the last time?"
