That there are actually people who think of humans in both a positive and negative light. I honestly think it's not good to think in either viewpoint entirely.

As well as the fact that there are a lot of people here on this planet that are good and well. And some of them will also fight for that goodness.

"It is well within our power to destroy our civilization and perhaps our species as well. If we capitulate to superstition, greed, or stupidity, we can plunge our world into a darkness deeper than the time between the collapse of classic civilization and the Italian Renaissance. But we are also capable of using our compassion and our intelligence, our technology and our wealth, to make abundant and meaningful life for every inhabitant on this planet, to enhance our enormously our understanding of the universe and to carry us to the stars." - Carl Sagan.

The one hope. THE ONE HOPE i have left for the human race is Christianity. It gives me hope.
Oh god, if I reply to you I'll get another temp ban.
I understand you bro.
My first suspension was annoying enough, not again!

My hope in humanity is....
The fact that someone loves me in the world and I love her back.
I'm such a fucking wuss.

A lot of people actually. I've met such nice, caring people, that I can't lose hope in humanity. They exist, and show that there is good in the world.
Yup never give up hope on humanity since if you do your giving up on yourself.

We're alone on what is probably an insignificant speck of dust in a great, dark, and hostile void. There's nothing else for which to hope.

It's very nice to meet people like you. I almost never find them in this dismal time. What upsets me is that culture nowadays is oriented around negativity and as a result, most people nowadays don't like to view positively anymore.

The fact that we're not all crazy monstrocities roaming around in a wasteland gives me hope.

Very little actually. It is hard to be a reasonably intelligent person... living in America... while retaining respect and hope for one's own species. I mean look at this article posted on this site that is linked to at the bottom of my screen even now: http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/102654-McDonalds-Attacked-For-Horrifying-Marvel-Happy-Meals
Sometimes i really do lose hope in humanity, but things like this make me see that humanity has to survive, if only so I can have something to laugh at, thanks man :)

Honestly though, it's the human trait of creativity. We can find our way out of anything.

.... Ok, what WON'T you Americans eat?

OT: Seeing people treat others with kindness without expecting something in return.

Joking aside, the internets are pretty cool guy, not afraid of totalitarianism or anything.
