Totally agree, but I didn't even finish the game. It felt broken every time I played it, especially the cars. For a game I truly hate, I'll say Motorstorm.sravankb said:I am really surprised no one said GTA 4 yet. Here's what I thought was wrong with it:
1. Controls - Yes, I am talking about the cars specifically. There are so many retards who are like, "It was realistic. Let's see you trying to turn your car at top speed." First of all, it wasn't realistic - the suspension on those cars were way too loose. Forza/GT is realistic. Secondly, if you are defending the game for its realism, remember that it is IMPOSSIBLE to get away from the cops in real life ,especially if they have a chopper chasing you. Lastly, people would never use the realism argument if it was a game made by EA.
2. Mission Variety - Lack of mission variety, that is. It was always - get some ammo/armor, go to X place, and kill some dude. You'd think they would have more than one type of mission in an open world game.
3. "Social" System - "Heeey caazin, let's go see some teetees!!"
4. My biggest complaint - it is a "jack of all trades" type of game; it provides you every gameplay genre you can think of, but none of them are executed well enough.
Before anyone suggests otherwise, I actually finished the game (story missions, at least). I don't think it is bad, but it definitely isn't perfect (10/10 from most reviews).
I hated it, too. The scenery was boring, the characterisation was flatter than a sheet of A4 and the gameplay was just repetitive. I didn't even wait for the DLC to get rid of it. I thought it was a complete turkey of a game, I expected more seeing how I paid full price for it.hyperhammy said:I'm going to get flamed for this, but I really hated Borderlands. Soooo boring.
I can't speak for the multiplayer but I do agree with your point that you can massacre enough enemies to make Rambo blush and somehow still lose because the enemy seems to teleport from command post to command post (on the hardest difficulty setting anyway). Despite the glaring flaws, I still adore the Battlefront games, however.Ildecia said:star wars battlefront 2;
no matter how good i am with a praticular unit; and ill be going around raping every single thing with said unit; my team always loses in some annoying thing... and whenever i play multiplayer with my friends:
against eachother: i begin to hate them and not talk to them anymore (probably just a personal problem)
team: theres no feesible challange... 2 PC= game breaking
really? i dont think its meh, i guess im just one of the people thats tired of not having a story in the game, i was on the edge of my seat and like freaking out, they establish everything very well, i love it.Khitten said:Probably Heavy Rain. However that is mainly because it is so fucking overhyped when its really quite meh. I just want people to shut the hell up about that goddamn failure and stop preaching about how its either "The 360 killer" or "the future of gaming" It is neither. It is a failed attempt at trying to fix Fahrenheit.
Technically then, doesn't DDR win on account of existing first? Granted, Guitar Hero's almost caught up with them on release count already, but still, it has colors to DDR's big glowing arrows.Guita Hero is the definition of QTE.
Guitar Hero ALWAYS tells you which button you need to press (they move toward the player which is the equivalent of "press X"). What game are you playing?
