The ending scene of Who Framed Roger Rabbit used to scare me shitless, when the old guys eyes got all red and he began melting...ugh.
Also, it may mark me as a pussy, but the huge white dog thing in the Neverending Story. GOD DAMMIT.
I couldn't watch that movie as a child, that thing seriously messed with my mind.

"REUTRNNN THE SLLLAAABBB" Shit, I nearly pissed my pants.
It wasn't just the way the mummy talked, but also the CG was freaky. So uncanny valley-esque. First time I saw it I went "what in the world is that?!" Gotta love the show. Also, Freaky Fred gave me the creeps.

Mister Blobby. Scary as shit. Gave me nightmares for years. Worst still, I was the only one mortally afraid of him. I was so scared that after dreaming of being in a room in my house where be burst in and attacked me, I was terrified of him bursting in through the door in the actual room in real life.

I had written more when I typed about him a few mins ago. Just the script that runs on this website is so fucking shit that my internet browsing programe froze and lost everything. It even freezes with Firefox. It's awful when it freezes when streaming videos on this site as I have to stream it again and hope it won't free again.

Google Mister Blooby to see why he's scary. Youtube him to HEAR why he's scary.

Thoes eyes will eat your soul.

When I was older, the episode of Goosebumps where they had the killer sponge creeped me.
The renovated title screen of "It's a Mystery!" where they had a cartoon brain with wires on it pulsating and little drops of blood flying from it.
After reading "Invasion of the Body Squeezers" (Goosebumps) I was paranoid for about two days.

What still creeps me out now is: seeing something unexplained in the sky
The Moth Man
An artist's impression of a witness to an eledge alien sighting that looked like a brown snowman with clawed hands and elephant feet. It had a spike where it's nose would be and two spikes 90* from it where it looks like ears.

I'm still wary of the paranormal. I don't belive in it. I also don't want it to exist.

that one death scene in a nightmare on elm street where the was sleeping in bed with her boyfriend and she's being killed in her dreams (she's the first one to die in the movie)
and final destination where the teacher was reaching up for the towel and pulls the knife set down and they impale her

Courage the Cowardly Dog. I mean, holy shit, that show was absolutely terrifying. The mattress episode, and the one with the mummy ("Retuuuuuurn the slaaaaaaab...")? Scared the crap out of me.

Courage the Cowardly Dog, scared me quite a bit.
The only one that ever really got to me was the hypnotic cooing of "buy fantasy flan, buy fantasy flan" but yeah that show could really pull some mindf**ks on a kid.
That whole show scared me, but that episode at i dunno 6,7,8, scared the living fucking hell out of me. I still refuse to watch that show in fear it will bring memories back. Until I was around 11 I wouldn't sleep without my head under the covers. A warning to all: DO NOT LET YOUNG PEOPLE WATCH COURAGE THE COWARDLY DOG. It will fuck them up for years.

Fuck me that movie scared the shit outta me when I was little.

Hey, I was 9 and scared of aliens. What do you want from me?
Now I'm afraid to look up the plot...

What happens? Why is it so scary?

EDIT:

Movie: Signs. Holy shit, I still get scared from watching that movie. Especially that part. You know what I'm talking about.
Damn it, how was everyone else heard of this movie?
It's about aliens coming to earth. Really good movie. It didn't scare me when I was 10. Dont look up the plot just watch it. The suspense is good. Was a bit dark and disturbing though.

IT and the Terminator, Both really good, both made me scarred to go to sleep at night. Honorable mention goes to Aliens, which still creeps me out.

I think the mummy episode scared everyone man, myself included. There's not a person I've talked to that wasn't freaked out by it. D:

I've had this discussion with a couple of my friends every once in awhile so I thought I would turn this question to the escapist. (what with this place generally being known for more intellectual discussion)

What movie did you watch as a kid (or when you were younger) that generally left you scarred after words.
My step-brother force me to record a porno when i was 9. Since you couldn't change canals, i had to watch the whole thing.
