Doesn't look too much different from Oblivion. I'll probably get it eventually but there's no way I'm spending $50-$60 bucks on it. I keep hoping they might actually put a decent melee system in, something more along the lines of Dark Messiah or... something... anything. It looks like just more...

Here's another vote for Jedi Knight 2, definitely one of the best games ever. STALKER is also a good one as is Borderlands (and you do not need to co-op it, it works just fine solo).
Legendary was the most awful POS game I've played in a long time.
The Fluff really serves to give IG a bad name. They are hardly just "cannon fodder" to drown enemies in bodies while Astartes go in and do the real work. They are trained soldiers who are, pound for pound, just as effective as any other army. Taking it in perspective: you have them compared...
I think it will do fine. Will it unseat CoD or WoW or Halo? Of course not but neither would Jesus. Gauging the success of games by their ability to overtake long-established franchises with huge fan bases is not only retarded but completely unreasonable.
Like I said. Expert economists.
Guess what? If no one buys your bands' albums, you're probably not going to stay signed for very long! I can sit here and throw out valid, logical counter-arguments just as long as you can attempt to pull random junk out of your backside to justify people not...
"Next Big Things" are a myth. You know how companies make a game which ends up being the "next big thing"? They set out to make a GOOD game. Both developers AND consumers really ought to know by now that setting out with the implicit purpose of making something "big" is pretty much just...
I love how everyone on the internet has a degree in economics.
Yeah, it happens though. Lots of people these days seem to have this overblown sense of entitlement which says: anything that exists belongs to ME! And while I rather scoff at the whole "piracy is killing the industry" and...
I used to console game from my computer chair when I lived out of one room so... I guess consider that a paradox or something. Strange poll but yes... you should look into a more comfortable chair; who plays games while laying down, anyhow?
It's already been said: porn is porn, you don't have to needlessly complicate it for no real gain. Of course, the same could be said for gaming in general.
You can use USB storage on the 360 now, so Memory Cards are basically pointless.
Why, exactly, do you need to take off the HDD? The ones on the Slim are actually still removable, you just have to take off part of the cassis to slip them out. They're still not hard-wired in or anything...
I'm desperately hoping Relic manages to make Dawn of War 3 not suck, because the second one did severely.
DoW 1 definitely redefined my favorite "type" of RTS, since its somewhat unique in the genre. A mix between building, teching and zone control without a specific focus on resource...
I couldn't care less. It's an obvious move to try and cash in on the "casual gamer" market that the Wii exposed and... well look where THAT has ended up. These people need to quit messing with this garbage and worry about making consoles that don't go belly up from normal use (looking at you...
