Ratchet and clank: Crack in time was a really fun game for me. Aside from that maybe heavy rain I have a ps3 myself but very few of the games I have stand out

If its your first play through get some graphics mods for it. Also, go for heavy or medium armour with a warrior. Rolling a full on mage from the start would probably be more difficult

Try Killing Floor. Even with very little story its still immersive as hell. The gameplay is damn fun too

I would get Mass Effect, Gears of War, Chromehounds, and Crackdown. You can probably find them all cheap pretty easily. Also bonus points if you start calling yourself a crossbox owner. Confuses the shit out of people. I used to do it.
