You don't like the game 'cause your not as good as everyone else? Really? I find that a really poor excuse. Online multiplayer is full of people who are always going to be better and in many cases thrash you at any game. Halo I believe is one of the most accessible shooter with gametypes that...
I used to play both Doom and Wolfenstein 3D at a local Rec Center when I went there once a week and I loved them as a kid and whilst they were great then I couldn't play them now. Games have evolved so much since then.
There isn't a clear or decisive winner out of the current generation of consoles, PC excluded because it isn't a console. Each one has advantages and disadvantages over each other whether its the hardware, library of games or online service.
What it really comes down to is personal preference.
The Halo series has been my favourite game series ever since the original came out on Xbox. For an FPS the story was really good and immersive and with more games, novels and other media expanding the universe it has become really good. Every level amazed me and drew me further into the world. I...

I remember Halo 3's final cutscene having music that particulary affected me.

I'm sure most of the Escapist people know of the Oddworld series, espically Abe's Oddysey one of my earliest favourites that I've played for years, but no one I know apart from my family know of the Oddworld games. Even my friends that call themselves 'real' gamers! Shame on them for not knowing...
I want another Star Wars Rogue Squadron dammit!! That game was awesome, Star Wars and flight combat were just the perfect mix. Back OT, I don't see why any developers come up with a good space combat games. I mean one of the most positive things are heard about Halo Reach over and over again was...
For SP good AI, well written story and good pacing. Seriously I don't what to be running and gunning through explosions for 8 hours. I like games that let you stop and breath, games that give me a chance to think about my next actions. I guess that's why I was always a fan of the Rainbow Six...
Anyone from the Warhammer and GTA series, Samuel L Jackson as the police officer in San Andreas was pretty cool. Oh and Michael Ironside who is boss as Sam Fisher.
Born in 1993, didn't have anything for Australia so I just went for all countries. Results weren't actually that surprising.
#1 The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
#2 Pokemon Gold and Silver
#3 Super Smash Bros. Melee
#4 Half-Life 2
#5 The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask
#6 Final Fantasy...
Wow, I actually got goosebumps from that video. I've never actually noticed how good the voice acting 'till listening to that and I am impressed!
Anyways, even against Valve I still voted for Relic. Why? Relic are one of the few studios that I have the utmost respect for. I have loved the...
Well I don't watch commentaries anymore but when I did I much preferred hearing a discussion about the game and not a random thought about life. Talk about the game, guns and maps you like to use, stuff you would like to hear about in a commentary.
