Nope, (un)fortunately enough the school did that for us... I found out through my own means :p

I don't think my parents have any problem with sex, mind you.

They tried but I had already learned the basics from the schoolyard. I wonder when I'll give my son or daughter "the talk". I guess I'll wait until I'm a parent before I think about it.

Me and my dad make sex jokes all the time, to the chagrin of my mother.

Its not really 'talking', but working a masturbation joke into dinner conversation definitly gets some points.

Nope, they did with my brother.
They figured when my school was sending me home with plastic bags filled with 100's of condoms I knew enough.

As a matter of fact, you're kind of meant to scre-

Actually, nevermind.

My dad told me to use a condom. On a Saturday afternoon. In the middle of a shopping centre. In a loud voice.

They told me the vague basics pretty early on, and later told me what a condom is, among other things. I learned more details from Wikipedia.

My parents overlooked the fact that my nickname is B.J, spent many years in school getting laughed at and i didnt even know why.

My mother was the one who pointed me to this:

I thought that was pretty effective. Definitely more effective than any sex ed or birds-and-bees speech.

My mom constantly talks about sex with her BF and i have stepped numerous times into an amore session (usually drunk and comming home late), so now she always drives to him. A move i highly encouraged.
One doesn´t need to hear about the sex-live of ones mom...

hell no! i just worked it out on my own (plus the help of the internet, man's greatest ally in the search for porn). also, i don't think anyone's parents nowadays would sit them down for 'the talk'. i mean, the only reason anyone says "Now son, when a man and a woman love each other VERY much..." is in a movie or tv show or some form of media or advertising, but never in real life anymore.

My dad gave me one piece of advice regarding women and sex.

"have confidence son, and they will come"

My father. Master of the pun.
