Actually no I haven't, except for a few teenage crushes when I was younger, but I'm sure they don't count as true love.

I'm in love now, babes.

EDIT: And we're not married, but been together for 3 and a half years, if anyone cares :p
I care, because it's always nice when someone tells you so

Since it's the topic, I also seem in love, but judging by some comments here, it's only a blend of fondness, insecurity and sex drive

I still am. She thinks of me as a friend and is going out with another guy who is a friend of mine. But im happy so long as shes happy.
No you're not.
now, don't you go bursting that particular bubble! Much like him I'm currently beating my mind into submission to convince myself of pretty much the exact same thing. So, let's leave bubbles, Santaclause, God and Unicorns alone for now.
This.

Yes, I have (stop laughing at the back).

It was a bit of a ***** when it ended (not helped by the fact that it was a rather messy ending) but I try to maintain an air of optimism for the future and for other people (one in particular at the time of writing).

What did I say about you lot laughing back there?

I have been in love for 4 or 5 years now. Its still strong. Although it only flairs when i talk to her on the phone. Unfortunately she's about 240 miles away, and on the other side of a mountain. So we haven't seen each other in at least 2 years.

Its sad panda, but i doubt we'll ever let it go.
Wow..what's the source of such devotion?
I can't see myself doing that.

since im only 13, the only thing so far has been a crush or 2. most girls i know either:

1. thinks im weird or ugly.
2. doesnt give a shit.
3. is a friend of mine (only 1 in this category, and shes actually pretty cute).
Ahh, to be 13 and akwardly teen again...

Don't worry, if that is the case, then you are doing fairly well. Personally, no female appreciated me before I went to the university. I mean, zero dating, zero girlfriends (though a couple of friends who were girls), everyone was pining over the few sport-stars or were not interested. Then I got to the uni and within 6 months, three girls had asked if I was available and if yes, what did I think of them.

That threw me in a loop for a while. And then I realized that there is all the time in the world and that some girls do go for the nice, geeky type.

So, at 13, enjoy life to the best you can. Leave worrying for much, much later.

I met my girlfriend at a LAN party at my college. No joke; we bonded over Cooking Mama and the board game Zombies!!!. After a year I still feel like the luckiest guy on the face of the planet, but my point is this: every time I've actively tried to get a girlfriend, it was stressful and desperation led to some bad relationships. Relax, be yourself, and "when the guy is ready the girl will appear" (to be said in a sage-like voice).

I have. It was excellent. But like all things, it ends. Painfully as it happens. She's with my best mate now.

Funny how much life is a *****, really, isn't it?

I was in Love.

She was my good friend's sister. I loved her when she was a weirdo-loner who nobody gave a second thought to.

We dated for 2 years. She blossomed into an absolutely stunning beauty, got in with the wrong "popular" crowd of artsy-poser no-lifes... They didn't like me... They began whispering in her ear that she could do better. She dumped me. To say i was devastated would be understating the situation. That was 8 years ago, now. And to be honest, there is still a part of me that has not gotten over her.

The good news is that I'm pretty sure she finally came her senses and realized her mistake. Unfortunately i think we're both too proud to ever admit that we still probably love each other.

I've moved on with my life, but fear the day she may ever decide to come and ask for me back.

Cause i would probably go to her in a heart-beat. My buddy likes to say that every man has that ONE girl that, no matter what, we will always love and drop everything for in a heart-beat. This is that girl for me.

I hate her for this. I hate that i will never be able to love a woman as much as i loved her.

I'm in love, pretty bad. I've known the guy for two years, been attracted to him for one. We are really good friends, but I'm so unsure about his feelings for me. It's really confusing in that way.

Yeah.

But she hates me, so... yeah...

But I'm asexual now, so I'm ok!
Thats got to take skill. I mean, I definatly couldnt do it.

But OT: Ive had a few crushes, but I really fell for this girl I know and thought I was but then she randomely out of the blue told me she was a lesbian. Never trusting my instincts again.

Twice, and I still love both of those ladies very much.

Neither relationship really flourished, but I'm still great friends with both of them, partly because all three of us live in the same house. As it turned out, those ladies were really lesbians who were just bicurious, and chose me as their guinea-pig. I didn't really mind cause let's face it: where else am I going to find two extremely cute lesbian girls, both of which massive anime-geeks, really nice, willing to live in the same house as me, and both of them higly flirtatious? Man, I love those women.
you are one lucky bastard :D
I want your life. Damn you!

I can't really say that I've been in love, but I have had a few crushes, and a few crushing rejections. To be hoenst, I'm just waiting to see what happens. If it doesn't happen, then it just wasn't meant to be...

I think I fell in love with a girl I dreamt last night.

Problem is she resembles no one I know... so if I meet someone like her this weekend my drunken self is going to get all excited and in my wooing attempt completely ruin it for myself.

Hopefully if I do meet someone like her soon I'll be sober, and if I don't meet anyone like her soon I'll forget about it and lust over some other type of woman instead.

Thought I was once. Even told the girl I loved her. She dumped me two days later in the form of text.

Yes, I'm madly in love with the girl who happens to be my only friend. She doesn't know and I don't have any intention of ever telling her.

Yes, I am in love and things are going fine between us. Though both of us are really cautious to make sure neither of us do something stupid.
