Is it just me, or is everyone in that video really unattractive? Like, downright ugly.
Especially the first woman. Swollen, glistening lips. Like someone hit her in the beak.

Is it sad that I know more than half of those people?
Is it sad that the only one I knew was Joanna Angel? Actually, nevermind that, she is the only good looking one in the video anyway.

Hahaha.

If only the people who really needed more revenue had the budget for PSAs.

Adapt or perish, that's what I say. Why don't these people open up their own tube sites, if tube sites are so profitable?

Plus, as many have said: I very very rarely enjoy professionally made stuff. It's just too.. plastic. It's good every now and then, but there's not a chance I'd pay full price for a porn DVD.

I saw a documentary on porn, and porn-tube sites are KILLING the industry. The internet did enough damage, but those really brought the hurt.
My favourite doc on the subject was HBO's 'Pornotopia: Going Down in the Valley'.

But porno movies will never make as much as regular movies because of volume. The same girl can make 40-50 movies in the same year!

Plus ANYBODY can make a porno movie. All you need is a camera and a craigslist posting account.

So it should be okay for unlicensed dealers to sell your product and give you nothing? Fantastic.

So what? If an industry can't keep up - and it clearly can't, given the success of internet porn - it should either evolve or die.

They don't deserve ANYTHING for operating in a way that is no longer profitable. It's not "right", it's not "heroic", it's not "honorable". Times move fast, and if you're stuck in the 70s/80s - I assume "official" porn tapes and magazines reigned back then, popularity-wise, you deserve to die.

It's the same thing as the recording industry. Times move ahead, and fat bastards who made a fortune in the past few decades (and sorry bastards who were hoping to go in their steps without realizing that new shit happens) just want to prolong their superiority in the field...

You either evolve or you die.
You realize were "internet" porn comes from right?
If not I award you the facepalm award
The majority of the internet porn is amateur or not the kind of thing you'd find on DVD.

How do they make money? Through ads. I doubt they even bother selling DVDs or what not.

And good job on grammar.
Yes my grammar is stop mofukin notch.
I guess the sites I go due just feature more dvd porn than independent stuff.

The reason the porn industry is dying has more to do with their refusal to evolve and offer something new. A lot can be learned from companies like Seduction Cinema who put in a little cleverness and thought into evolving their porn into Roger Corman esque B-movies and horror. All of these people are just whining that their gravy train have come to a stop. If any idiot can do your job for free, it's time to get a new one.

Yeah, but you've gotta consider how any two fairly attractive people with a camera can distribute free porn nowadays, so it's not like companies can really combat either the Internet in general, the prevalence of amateur pornography or the existence of Porn-Tube websites.

I quite frankly don't see how the industry can ever start seeing more money/business than they are now (such as it is), unless extremely obnoxious obscenity filters become mandatory worldwide, thereby forcing people to pay out for smut.
