This being the escapist, I can safely say there's no noobs here to flame this so here it goes.
What is the funniest thing you've ever had a noob say to you on any game?

One of mine was back when I played Runescape years ago, a noob came up to me say "WHAT DO I RUN FROM?!?!?!?!". I was like "wtf?". It turned out he thought the game was called "Run Escape!" lol ah good times, so whats yours?

This was pretty hilarious. Not your situation, your entire post. Ha! I kid the chicken!

when he said my freind went on what street.

a few minutes passed and sheppys voice was coming from my freinds mike truns out they lived on the same street and stumbled across each other on xbl

Oh well, it is just a personal matter than for you to figure out. It is a cool looking avatar in my opinion and if bothers you that much that two people have the same one then you might wanna pick up a new hobby. Welcome to the Internet bro, hope you have a nice stay.

I have a couple. Back in year 9 and 10 me and a friend used to tell all the counter-strike players (unfortuantely 1.6 was the only game on there... until we downloaded unreal) things like 'f' was grenade ,it throws away weapon, and ctrl w was start new game. Used to get them a couple of times until they wised up. Then we moved on. Alt F4 etc. Also, playing combat arms or some PVP, and some noob who was actually average, but an idiot lol, kept calling me a noob cause I was a "gun stealer." I think after I've shot this player in the face, I deserve to pick up his superior weapons. Not my fault he had been playing that game for longer lol.

Might have to go back to the old times of Runescape too.
Him: "Drop all your items on the floor, and then press Alt + F4! It duplicates all your items."
Me: "OK..."
Me: "Hey thanks, that really worked!"
Him: "What really?!"

His character disappeared after that, so I assume he did it...

I think this wins. Seriously. Oh, one more, I did once get a newbie to follow me into the PVP area. Got shit all for it, but I got some cheap laughs out of it.

Well this one time, some guy made a stupid thread about things noobs say on The Escapist, not even realizing how much of an annoying elitist it made him sound.

Oh and some kid on XBL was having an argument with his mother about taking a bath. "I don't wanna take a bath, I'm not even dirty, MOM I'M CLEAN! I don't want to take a bath! PLEASE! LET ME GET THIS KILL! (We were in the lobby) MOM!" it went on like that for five minutes easily, until I swear to god, his mother comes on the mic and proclaims to the rest of the players "Kevin has to take a bath now. So I hope all of you will understand why he's gone for several minutes." Stupid children and their bath-times, aaah. Good memories.

On one of the few occasions that I've played Halo 2 online, I played a game of CTF.
When the enemy team scored their first and only point of the game, they went (in chorus):

We were laughing our asses off as we explained to them what was the real thing.

thats not a noob, he was just abit young and had to get clean hehe, although the first on i agree with =P
