One? Why limit myself!

Kinect Adventures
Kinect Sports
Star Wars game
Im sure Microsoft will release many more games of this caliber in the times to come. (Just because I didn't list dance central or Kinectamals doesn't mean they are any good. How much time are you going to spend playing those mini games?)
Kinect Adventures has solid build quality and the games are fun to play with friends. It can even be used as a good workout by yourself. This game also comes free with the system.

Kinect Sports is made by Rare and I did play Bowling for it. It was an advancement over the Wii Bowling for sure.

Star Wars game....do you even know the definition of shovelware? Star Wars Force Unleashed for the Wii would be considered shovelware, a freshly built title for an exclusive system sounds like a great AAA title to me.

Dance Central is made by Haramonix so you know it will be fun and have some depth to it. Being Expert on this game will be difficult as hell.

Kinectamals will be the game for children, girlfriends and wifes, however its several technically advanced and even interested myself. Then again I dug Viva Pinata, lol.

So anywho, I just burned through all your complaints and I couldn't find a basis for any of them. You are saying they will release a ton of shovelware on the system like Nintendo does however you have no idea because no one knows at this point. Why? Because beyond Star Wars we have no idea whats coming out for it.
What? All those games are mingames. Ther's no story or depth or plot. Mini games are fun at first but then end up not used and forgotten after a week or two. The Move on the other hand supports GAMES. Killzone 3, Heavy Rain, LBP2, Socom 4 and even the new Socery game which incorperates 1:1 motion control. I don't know where you were told that the Move is identical to the Wiimote because the Move along with the PsEye can do anything that Kinect can do.

*I just reread your post. Star Wars game is a great AAA title? Wtf? This is the game you're talking about?

No, the kinect is so obviously a ripoff that it won't even be in the same league. I predict/Hope the kinect crashes and bombs and Microsoft concedes and gives up the pretense of motion gaming.

You say this but defend that shitty Star Wars rail game? The Move has much more poentaila because it incorparates a camera (like Kinect) and a motion control (like the Wii). It can track movement like the Kinect as well as allowin devs to make good looking fun games like Socery.
Umm shitty? It looked pretty bad ass to me and to everyone else in the crowd at E3. Move has the potential to be the Wii in HD...which isn't a compliment. It looks identical in operation. If you want to play with a colorful dildo and a joystick be my guest but I have great faith in what Microsoft will do with Kinect.

Sony didn't take Microsoft as a threat back when Xbox 1 came out and look what happened. Playstation 3 has been playing catch up every since and has lost of ton of its major exclusives.

Enjoy your Move I hope you have fun with it but Kinect will blow some minds up when stuff gets rolling with it.
Playing catch up. The PS3 has a vast variety of games to offer unlike Microsoft. All Microsoft has is Mass Effect, Halo Gears and the ever failing Fable. (I've played all the Fables and Fable 2 is arguably the worst game I've put in my 360). PS3 has MGS4, Killzone 2, LBp, Heavy Rain, Resitance Series, God of war Ratchet and Clank.... Catch up, I think they have already taken the lead.

Please I want you to tell me how the Kinect can offer games woth stories, you know games that aren't mingames.

Every game you listed for the Move are not coming out until 2011 at the earliest here are the launch titles for Move...

EyePet
Kung Fu Rider
Sports Champions
Start The Party!
echochrome ii
Tumble
Brunswick Pro Bowling (Crave)
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2010 (Electronic Arts)
Time Crisis: Razing Storm (Bandai Namco)
Toy Story 3 (Disney)

Wow so lets look at this list. You have EyePet which is Kinectamls so thats a wash. Kung Fu Rider? Sports Champions...I am assuming thats like Wii Sports. Start the Party! I feel a collection of minigames coming. Echochome ii....really? Tumble, no idea what this is. Brunswick Pro Bowling...so instead of including bowling in a collection of games they are trying to sell it seperately. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2010, okay. Time Crisis: Razing Storm...I thought Move had 3D camera controls so you could move yourself why are you playing a rail game? Toy Story 3...this game has been out a while and who cares if it has motion controls.

So yes Playstation Move will have Killzone 3 and other big titles sometime down the road but it appears they are in the same boat if not in worst shape than Kinect. Kinect too will have big titles in the near future such as the new Star Wars game but others will follow. I can't tell you that I know how movement around a map will be included but I am sure they are figuring that out.

people who are willing to shell out 150 dollars for kinect probably already bought a wii and anyway Nintendo moved onto the 3ds.

So I love how when you include 3 of Microsofts big titles it looks like they have a small list to offer. Let me help you out.

1) Mass Effect 2

2) Alan Wake

3) Halo 3: ODST

4) Forza Motorsport 3

5) Gears of War 3

6) Fable III

7) Left 4 Dead 2

8) Splinter Cell: Conviction

9) Crackdown 2

By the way Fable 2 on metacritic.com (http://www.metacritic.com/games/platforms/xbox360/fable2)
Fable 2 has a 89% overall rating so you might be in a small group of people who hated Fable 2.

Now I of course only listed titles out now for the 360, but Xbox has some big titles coming out soon.

Probably not. The Wii has already sold itself to the people that want a Wii and now Nintendo is focusing on software instead.

Personally i don't really hate motion controls, but i just don't like the games.
When the Wii came out i hoped that it gave you more.. freedom in gaming.

EDIT: And if Kinect hurts the Wii (Which i doubt) then Nintendo strikes back with the 3DS later on.

It might hurt Wii a little bit but the Kinect is too expensive to really take off and most people interested in motion sensors already have a Wii anyway
Well I am interested in motion sensors and I don't have a Wii so I would say your statement is wrong. The Wii is not true motion sensing gameplay. Its more pre-determined movements will cause pre-determined animations on screen to occur.

On top of that how is $150 including a free game too expensive? I already stated Rock Band 2 and other band kit games sell like hot cakes when they sell close to if not $200 a kit.

Plus for those like me who own a Xbox but don't own a Wii, Kinect is a cheaper option by $50, plus however more money I would have to spend to get a few more controller sets.

How does the 3DS compete against a home console? Also you have no idea how much it will cost. Look at Nintendo DSi its $169 (more than Kinect) so add 3D in the mix and it will be more expensive. I also assume that programming 3D games might be more expensive meaning each game will sell for more, I would guess around $40-50 a game.

Kinect Sports. Also, Dance Central, Kinectimals and Fable 3(as it uses a standard controller, motion controls will inevitably feel tacked on).

I will admit Kinect Sports is, but you have to look at from their point of view. The biggest game and one of the only ones more wii owners mention as their favorite is Wii Sports so they had to make a similar title. However Dance Central is a major title made by Haramonix so you are dead wrong. Kinectimals seems very interesting but I didn't get a long time with the demo. Fable 3 is a AAA title so thanks for playing. For fun here is a list of shovelware titles for the Wii:

Game Party
Ninjabread Man
Ghostbusters
Any and all movie licensed games
Anubis II
Escape from Bug Island
Price is Right
M&M Kart Racing
Carnival Games
Petz series
Bratz series

I had fun making this list but there were too many titles and it would take up a lot more time to make a complete list.

Well make a list of complete bombs for the N64. N64 was the beginning of the end of Nintendo completely giving up on quality checking the games it allowed on its system. Back in the Super Nintendo days they had a Nintendo Quality Seal which apparently was never used since.

And I will admit I typed in the wrong Zelda title for the N64. But it was the last great Zelda game because I was more than pissed when I bought a Wii on day one with Twilight Princess coming to find out I was playing a Gamecube game on my new system. I sold the Wii shortly after Smash Bros came out, before then it was simply collecting dust.

In all honesty it doesn't really stand a chance in hell, it's like another MMO dethroning WoW it's just not going to happen for quite some time. I'm an avid 360 gamer but I'll stick to my Wii for motion controls and maybe the Playstation Move if it's cheap enough.

The current generation of consoles has maybe a year, two tops, before their parent companies will have to bring out new hardware. This leads me to believe both Move and Kinect are just one last hoorah before the new stuff hits. Which, if you think about it, makes any kind of serious support for either seem tenuous at best.
So basically the people buying it will be the market research to see if it's worth integrating into the next generation or not...
