DracoSuave said:Where was this level of paranoia about Bush when he started eroding constitutional rights, deregulating the banks leading to your current economic woes, and used a national tragedy to destroy the fabric of habeus corpus and commit warcrimes, while one after another the members of his administration leave office due to scandals and lies?GyroCaptain said:I'm of the opinion that the reaction is stone-cold insane, but what probably provoked this was the power-tripping bit of crazy the Obama mill ground out a short while ago with Hollywood celebrities pledging their support to Obama and specific favorite causes of his that aired in Utah or wherever. In other words, anyone paranoid in any sense about Obama has been given enough ammunition on this point prior to this to turn back the Mongol horde. Sure the administration will watch what they say NOW, but the previous DDR-esque propaganda for gradeschoolers means provoking Hatfields and McCoys together to fire from the hills no matter what he does in schools.
I find skepticism to be highly dubious when it doesn't actually cut both ways.
Thank god I live in a country that puts its leadership under a microscope during good times and bad. If 9/11 happened here, the government would be overthrown for incompetance.
This is what happens when people mistake opinion for fact. And let me tell you, it happens ALL the time. After all, it's much easier to assume then to know.
