Poll: If Pokemon were real would you eat them?

Problem is you cannot eat Ghosts or Rocks and Rodents like pikachu aren't very tasty.

I'm pretty sure that most of you are aware of the Pokemon series, you know the popular game series where you go around catching animals and make them fight, the game series eventually spawned a TV show and then a card game. So the question im asking is would you eat a Pokemon?

The reason why im asking this is because i was hanging out with a group of friends and one of them was playing the most recent game in the series and he randomly asked. "Yo, if Pokemon were real would you eat them?"

After his question i was speechless for two reasons, one reason was that he caught me completely off guard with an incredibly weird question and the second reason was that i couldn't think of a good answer. So now im asking you the same question, if Pokemon were real would you eat them? And if so which ones?

Personally i think that krabby would taste delicious.

*Note: The reason why i thought to put this in the off topic section because im talking about the series not just the games.

They do, magikarp is a common food in the Pokemon universe.

You mean a milktank? Although in the tv series the characters often eat meat, it's never said where the meat comes from and it's never stated that pokemon are eaten.

If Pokemon were real I would definately eat the ones like magickarp and milktank that seem to correspond to actual animals. I wouldn't touch any of the insect, ghost, rock, or metal pokemon though.

I believe they are considered plants in the Pokemon universe, so i believe that wouldn't be considered eating meat.

Ooh, shiny! And I'm more of a squid person (tastes like chicken!). And thanks for the compliment. It's stagnated a bit for the actual story (due to lack of time or will to write anything), but the role-playing with a friend just hit a new level of character traumatising, which is always fun.

Haha I don't think I've ever eaten squid actually. I have a vague feeling I may have but can't remember.

Character traumatising is indeed always good fun, that's what video games are for! Freedom to cruelly treat digital characters however you see fit.
