Ok, when you want someone to understand something, insulting them doesn't necessarily make them want to listen to you. For example, "...who are obviously too stupid to find out the correct meaning of the word..." and "People who use words without knowing what they mean... are contemptible...

Crossbow. In modern times, these could mount sights, and would be more useful. I think everyone has argued about the advantages and disadvantages, but I still prefer the point and shoot capability of the crossbow.

I think the speed and jumping strength (plus horns if I can has it too) that gazelles have. Many gazelles can hit 50 miles and hour, and can jump pretty damn far. And our legs are a bit bigger than theirs (well not if you combine their front and back ones) so we could jump even higher.

The Catcher in the Rye. A celebrated novel, but I hate all the characters, so I have trouble stomaching their repetitive whining. I s'pose the actual writing of the some of the characters is quite good, but the story itself makes me want to bleed from my eyes.

Well, I wouldn't want to really advance the technology of Earth too much because humans like to expand and control everything very quickly. At first, you help them, then you're equals, then they take over. So I would wipe them out or alter them to be like cattle :)
